This app is an utter garbage!It used to be so good, back in 10’ fast forward 15 years later it’s an absolute garbage trash, non-functional whatsoever, FOR NO reason it will ask you to verify yourself, then it will make it so that you don’t get any matches. Very bad and odd algorithm, you can get 10/15 matches when you register and then it stops showing you all together, even if you pay app is not working, so really 9/10 times you register app will not work! If you are lucky you can get something out of it, very bad, TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED! They also have their own fake bot accounts that will push you to get tinder plus, believe me 90% of them are bots.

Sorry to hear this! Use your profile info and photos to let your true personality shine. You also have the option to let potential matches learn more about you by connecting your Instagram & Spotify accounts to your Tinder profile. Simply tap the profile icon, tap your profile photo and scroll to the Instagram or Spotify section.
Got banned FOREVER even without using the app

I was on a tinder for a very short time, messaged with few people and then left it for couple of weeks. Decided to open cuz wanted to go through one of the conversations and figured that I got banned forever without any right to return and without any explanation. Having read the reviews figured that I’m not the only one, moreover, learned that few of my friends had the same issue. Messaging to support doesn’t help they just reply with their “we take our policy very seriously” excuse. Suggested that my profile could have been hacked and received the same automated message. That’s rediculous! I see nothing like “taking policy seriously” in case my profile was hacked and the app didn’t give a single f about it. Why don’t you take your users seriously and with respect and explain why you are doing it? I literally had so many scammers messaging me, shady profiles etc. and eventually I was the one banned 🤡 I thought tinder was good but figured it’s just a joke. You guys need to focus on getting rid of scammers rather than verified profiles who do nothing but having a decent convo!
Misleading match pool/ poor match rates

I’ve used tinder previously throughout the years, it’s never been perfect and always had its bugs (like constantly banning and flagging normal accounts as bots- while the real bots are still on the app). But I did want to raise a new concern of a somewhat misleading feature and a so not user friendly algorithm:So, my account was like getting no new profiles and only showing people far away- until I went to the explore tab and checked the different “date night/ coffee date/ etc…” categories and saw so much most nearby profiles!Like, Why was it so hidden? it felt so misleading like I could’ve been dating and matching with these people closeby so much sooner had I realised …
