Budget & recurring money Installment plans — Track loans and purchases with equal installments, remaining balance, schedule, and extra payments that reduce what you owe. Fixed income & expenses — Choose Ongoing (from a start date, every period) or Fixed term (start and end). No month picker for ongoing rules. Stop from the activity feed — When editing a recurring row: change this period only, from this period onward, or stop for one month / from a date without breaking past entries. “From here” edits — Updating a recurring item from a period no longer deletes earlier automatic entries. Plans & limits Category limits — Pick categories with the same colorful grid as expenses; optional “all categories” for a line. Period labels — When you browse other years, period names show the year so you always know which period you are in. Adding entries Quick add — Pick the type once (expense, income, limit, fixed income, fixed expense, installment plan); the sheet focuses on your choice. Tap the type again to switch. Installment plan stands out on the fixed expense form and in quick add. Voice & receipt controls match the compact type chips for a calmer layout.

Exclude individual shopping or travel list items from file and QR shares from the item menu. Excluded items stay on your list but are not sent when you share. Turn sharing back on anytime with Include in sharing.

Try all four Paylo modes: Split, Budget, Shopping, and Travel. In Split, create or join a group, add expenses, review balances, and record settlements. In Budget, open a shared household budget, add income and spending, and check category totals and plan progress. In Shopping, create lists, add or edit items, mark purchases, and try bulk add from pasted text, a file, or a photo. In Travel, start from a ready-made template, choose items, add notes and estimated costs, and try bulk add from text, a file, or a photo. Check sign-in, language settings, and cloud sync where available. Report crashes, missing data, or confusing flows.

We’ve added a way to link a split expense to your budget—so money you already logged in a group can flow into the right budget line. We’ve also tightened up the screens with more breathing room and clearer layout, so the app feels lighter to use. Update and try linking your next expense to a budget.

Use test events when you want to try the app safely: add expenses, split costs, settle balances, and invite people without changing your main dashboard totals or cross-event summaries.
