I received this frame for 2025 Father’s Day, which my wife bought from Bing Lee, Carlingford. I’m happy with the quality of the frame and specially the large size, makes it easier to see the photos. I like how it can be displayed portrait or landscape. The App to upload the photos is easy to use and I use an IPad, IPhone and my Samsung Tablet to upload photos. My photos are shot on full frame and APSC so they look fantastic, even my phon photos look great. I only wish I could use the App to create a collage of some of the photos. But I love that I can send photos to the Frameo from anywhere, even when I’m on the bus!

I’m very happy with my Frameo purchase. Bought as a gift for my grandmother who lives in South Africa to feel more connected with us, who live in Australia. Setup was fairly easy and we are able to share images over wifi and cell data direct to her home. I knocked off a star because sometimes I’m not sure if I’ve just uploaded images to the app, or have already published them to her frame, but this MAY be specific to the fact that I manage photo access on a case by case basis, I didn’t allow the Frameo app access to my entire gallery. I love that I can add captions to the photos to add context or point things out. Very satisfied and would recommend to people in my situation. Even if you and your loved one are local, it’s a great way to share timely updates and events without the recipient having to use a phone every time, making it a great option for older family members who are not tech savvy but don’t want to miss out on sharing memories. For older recipients, I’d recommend a tech savvy person being present to help set the frame up for the first time.

I love the frame i have and how easy frameo is to use. I gifted myself a frame and each of my family overseas one so we can all share photos in a more connected and meaningful way instead the photodumps in messages. I also love the collage function, however it wiuld be great if the app/frame could recognise and differentiate between portrait and landscape photos and fill the collages according to that, and to switch perhaps randomly between 3 and 4 photo collages. Also, the combination of photos in collage mode is always the same. This should be shuffled also.

I have only had my frame for about a week. It was working fine but having to adjust each photo on the frame individually was incredibly annoying but at least it worked. Since the update to the frameo app, it’s far more difficult to adjust and frameo is crashing constantly. What was a favourite Mother’s Day gift is nearing being thrown in the bin! Why can’t you edit photos on the app? Why isn’t it smart enough to auto rotate photos from landscape to portrait and vice versa. I had an old fashioned digital frame that could do that. Not only do a regret updating from a stable and easier to use version of the app, I regret buying into this technology. I don’t recommend to anyone who is time poor who is hoping to just plug and play, this technology doesn’t work like that sadly.
