Compared to other popular exchanges I rate Kraken quite highly. It can be a little bit buggy at times but I’ve never missed a trade you just have to close the app and restart it. There is a strange element to when you are setting a custom price because it will not purchase lower than the price you set which means if it falls your purchase price hangs at a higher level and does not fill until the price comes up which is completely counterintuitive.

Easy to use app BUT be prepared that they can close your account without any explanation. I’m new to this system, downloaded and started to use it. Introduced it to my friends and helped them to set it up. Went on their chat support and asked a question about a bank deposit and it all started from there, received a few security check emails from them asking me several questions including if I have helped anyone and if I have received help from anyone. I replied with honesty and the next thing I received was an email notifying me that my account has been closed with no explanation! Emailed them and apologised for helping others to set up, no success. After that they closed all my friends accounts one after the other for no valid reason. Very disappointing 😑
