I had high hopes for the PantID and Care app, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The app claims to be able to identify any plant and provide care tips, but it fails miserably in both aspects.First, the plant identification feature is highly inaccurate. I tried using the app to identify common houseplants, and it either got them completely wrong or couldn’t identify them at all. It’s frustrating to think that I could have done a better job with a simple Google search.

first of all- check the options for subscriptions if you actually wanna use this app. There are so many subscriptions for different prices and there’s no difference in what you’re getting for $7 per week compared to $15 a week.Secondly- I HAD a subscription and was being charged twice per week instead of once. They’ve taken twice as much money from me as they needed to. Don’t recommend.

Can’t cancel subscription via app

I just downloaded the app and signed up to a 3 day free trial. I have used it once and the app can’t identify a simple variety of Lilly pilly. I’ve subsequently tried to access my subscription to cancel it but the subscription page won’t load in the app. Extremely dodgy / convenient for the app owner. If I am charged for the subscription I’ll be claiming a fraudulent transaction.
