1. NEARBY PAGE: travelers, groups, plans, and hangouts near you
2. TRIPS: search trips and find others going, join and create plans and groups
3. MATCHING: match with a travel buddy based on your interests and next destination (premium feature - a one-time payment of $3.99)
4. FEED: follow country pages, post collaboratively to share tips, plans, post travel journals, and travel photos
5. CHAT: chat on groups, plans, hangouts, and with individual users

We, the founders of Going Solo are solo travelers ourselves, so we understand that the best part of solo travel is the connections made along the way. We believe that making friends abroad should be as easy as sending one message. We know that it can get extremely lonely being on your own in a foreign country, and our mission is to make you feel like you will always have a friend anywhere you go when you have Going Solo app by your side.
If you have been wanting to travel but don't want to go alone, our plans feature is the perfect way to find a trip bff! All you have to do is create or join a travel plan in the app and you have new besties to come along with you! If you're planning a trip but haven't left yet, our trip feature allows you to simply put the destination and travel dates where you plan to go to find people who have saved the same plan.
