I was getting lots of spam calls from numbers with the same first 3 digits of my own, and it took seconds to set up a rule that blocked them all. My incoming calls are peaceful again! The only problem is that my husband’s number was also in that range, and it was blocked for calls and FaceTime even though “allow calls from my contact list” was turned on and he was certainly in my contacts list.

Dear LizaPizza81,thank you for your rating and your kind words. Happy call blocking!

I just bought it, and when i try to add a blocked number, it takes a full minutes to process. That doesn’t make sense! iPhone 13…

Developer Response
The processing time depends on both rule complexity and device processing speed. Rules with more than 8-digit wildcards generate thousands of number combinations. On an iPhone 13, which has slower processing power compared to newer models, this can take a few minutes.

This app would work much better if you could start blocking numbers beginning at the area code instead of starting at the tail end of 10 digits. This process takes a long time and makes your phone very hot while it’s doing it.

Developer Response
Thanks for your suggestion. Please note that 10 digit blocking is a heavy process and it’s normal to take time as it demands processing power from your device to create all the calculation rules.

Well, i have tried entering numbers many different ways and it just does not block anything. If anyone as ideas, share them

Developer Response
We're sorry to hear you're having trouble. Let's try a simple example:- To block a specific number like 1-555-123-4567, enter '1' on the first popup and then '5551234567' on the next one. Then select the range of numbers you want to block (e.g. for 7 digits, use "1555XXXXXXX") and wait for the process to be completed. Please ensure Call Ranger is enabled in Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification. If you need more help, feel free to contact our support team.

• Block a single number: you can now block one specific number, not just ranges and prefixes. • Easier country picker: countries are grouped by letter, with an index on the side to jump through the list. • You can now block numbers as short as 4 digits • Large counts are now shown in your language's format • Bug fixes and improvements
