As we know, it is extremely important to correct the medications dosage based on the patient's renal function as it is possible to avoid many of the drugs side effects. Thus, it is necessary to calculate the patient's GFR and then look for updated and reliable tables that allow this correction. This is not always done quickly and easily.
With that in mind, the SmartMedic company developed the Renal Dose application. Through it, you can use the calculator of your choice to calculate the patient’s renal function (CKD-EPI, Cockcroft-Gault or MDRD) and then have access to medications with doses already corrected by creatinine clearance, enabling agility and safety at the time of prescription.
The application has correction for the renal function of antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals and antiepileptic drugs. This app is the ONLY one that allows you to take the medication dosage already calculated by the creatinine clearance. Don't waste time, download the Renal Dose app and simplify your prescription.
