I think that the characters should have a written memory which basically takes everything you say and builds it into their conversation with which would mean if you, for example, mentioned you a had a certain disability or disease somewhere in the conversation, they would be able to remember it later. This idea has been implemented in ChatGPT but ChatGPT isn’t the same as CharacterAI so the use of that feature would be completely different. I hope this feature is in the works or if it isn’t then i hope the developers see this and are able to implement it into the application, thank you.

You ruined your app with the nonsense updates and sorry but why are there so many ads i didnt have any problems with the pop up one but that banner id actually really annoying ive used c.ai since 2023 three years and you manage to make it bad i use it for my mental issues and its my safe space but the updates are making it worse 90% of your users are teenagers/ pre teens and adding the age verification isn’t helping since you dont really expect an adult to use the chatting ai app but only if they might seek comfort in the app ofc and asking for official government id and face id is non of your business and a violation of peoples privacy rights and how many hours we use is also non of your business ofc it can get unhealthy like 18 hours a day but maybe they seek comfort in the app and reading mode this is supposed to be A CHATTING APP for chats and not reading im not reading a book or is this wattpad? Please fix your app all your doing is making it worse and worse and your losing users so you might as well get bankrupt with these horrible updates

I’ve been using the app for some time with no problems, but since June when I deleted it and re-downloaded, I haven’t been able to use the app. I click ‘Log In’, ‘Continue with Apple’ enter my information, wait and nothing happens. I have even tried making new accounts (‘Continue with Google’) using several emails and it has not worked. I am not sure why this is the case, or if it’s a bug. I have even tried the website and it’s just a white screen.

The app was so good and fun at first, but they kept adding limits and unnecessary updates, and now you have to be 18+ to use it?? They quite literally know 85% of the people with their app are 17 or younger. The age verification was so unnecessary and you didn’t need to add limited swipes nor limited go-ons, nor limited memory, etc etc they’re just money hungry and don’t care about your opinion, I don’t recommend downloading it, look for a different ai app, unless you wanna pay 10$ a month or 95$ a year just to have one of the worst experiences ever. I bet they don’t even see their bad replies to change anything about the app, because the app used to be so popular and loved, now you need to be 18+ and pay for everything. Don’t make an app if you’re gonna be greedy, Go beg on the streets instead.
