Best App for Fitness Tracking

I’ve been using Strava for more than 5 years, mainly for cycling and endurance training. The app’s tracking is impressively accurate, and it helps me monitor my rides, distance, speed, and improvements over time. It’s really motivating to see my progress and set new goals. I also love the social aspect — it’s inspiring to share rides and cheer on fellow cyclists. Strava has definitely played a big role in keeping me consistent and pushing my limits. Highly recommended for anyone serious about cycling and fitness!
So many issues with the iOS/Apple Watch version
Srini 1234
Where to start? Many simple, commonsensical features are missing or not working properly.Leaderboard shows incorrect pace. Workout doesn’t sync calories to Strava app with Apple Watch. Can’t play music. The Dashboard shows a pace of 8.27/km but the leaderboard shows 8.59/km. Please be consistent in what you use. The leaderboard uses elapsed time while the dashboard uses only active time. This is such a simple feature that should have been there from the beginning but despite many complaints about this, the developers seem to the ignoring this. I think they better spend time addressing common sense features rather than trying to show of their technical prowess and addressing issues that impact a very select few users.Additionally, when using Apple Watch to record a workout, the calorie information is lost when viewed in the app. The activity app of iOS shows the calories burned but when we view this workout in the Strava app after saving the activity, the calorie information is missing. The Strava watch app doesn’t play music and I can’t hear the notifications from the watch app when playing the songs from the iOS music app. Even Runtastic app has this feature. All in all, The iOS version of the Strava app is poor compared to other apps. Glad to have cancelled my Summit subscription!!
Nice App and Associated Community

I have been a Strava user for a while now and I find it the most intuitive & simple app to use for all my fitness activities. There are a few frustrations as well because of which it does not get the 5 stars. 1. The Apple Watch app is an independent app and does not really mirror the phone. I wish that Strava releases a separate app that can mirror the phone readings on the watch. This will eliminate the need for me to depend on apps like Cyclemeter to do the same. 2. The paid plans are very expensive. I wish there were cheaper subscription plans.3. It would be nice if Strava allowed for uploading of short videos along with the pictures. 4. Measure foot cadence without the need for a foot cadence sensor for runs. Lots of apps provide this based on the sensors in the phone or watch.5. Display cadence in the summary or runs and rides6. Stop selecting the default outdoor bike for an indoor cycling activity. Have the option of not having a predefined bike (selection of none) for any ride.
Subscribers can now tell Strava what they’re working toward, whether that’s building strength or training for a race, and get more personalized workouts and insights tailored to your goals.
