I have got their trial and got to know it has to be viewed by their official application. I downloaded it, and after sometime tried to cancel the subscription but their app was not working. Which let me not cancel my subscription. I waited for the other day, but my subscription was already charged. I raised the issue as soon as this happened. Firstly, pathetic and boring content. Second , they got app issues which did not let me cancel their subscription. At last when I tried to connect with them, for a refund they kept on changing the customer service people, all of them kept saying I cannot get a refund. This is really a scam. I even tried telling them that I might take this action online to which they had an automated reply saying no refund will be provided.Don’t download the app, my hard earned money goes into this third class app. Beware.

The whole app is a scam. It popped up on my Instagram feed and their ₹1 was a great deal so I installed the app and paid. I didn’t know tat the ₹1 trial pack after 3 days will activate my autopay at google pay app which was ₹599 for each months. And I am unable to cancel nor paused the autopay from google pay and the merchant app (Story Tv). I wanted to cancel the autopay but it won’t enable. I also tried emailing them 3-4 times but no response then I decided to contact their customer support but turns out the phone number is not valid. However, in my case my bank balance was low and they weren’t able to deduct the ₹599 for their subscription. There were 3-4 fail attempts each day. It has been like tat for 5 days from now. So for now I can’t keep money more than ₹599. The app is a whole scam. Not recommended at all👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻.

Extremely disappointing experience with Story TV. The app advertised a 2-day free trial, but I was charged ₹399 despite informing customer support before the trial ended that the subscription cancellation option in the app was not working. I emailed them and contacted their support team, and they confirmed that my subscription would be cancelled. Despite this assurance, they still deducted ₹399 from my account.This is completely unacceptable. If the cancellation feature in the app doesn’t work, customers should not be penalized for it—especially after support has acknowledged the issue and promised to cancel the subscription. Even after raising this concern, I have not received a satisfactory resolution or refund.I would strongly advise others to be cautious before starting the free trial or sharing their payment details.

Do not trust this app. Story TV is running a blatant subscription scam.They lure you in by offering a booking or trial for just ₹1. What they intentionally hide in the fine print is that they automatically activate an auto-pay mandate on your account. The moment the next month hits, they start secretly stealing money from your bank account through automatic subscriptions without any prior warning or OTP.To make it worse, their customer service is a total ghost town. Once they steal your money, nobody replies to emails, chats, or refund requests. They ignore you on purpose so they can keep pocketing your cash.Steps to protect yourself if you already fell for this:1 Do not bother waiting for their support team.2 Go straight to your UPI app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm) or net banking settings.3 Search for "Autopay" or "E-mandates" and manually REVOKE/DELETE their permission immediately, otherwise they will keep charging you every single month.This company relies on deceptive trade practices to survive. Save your money and stay far away from this fraud.
