You can tell this app loves podcasts. Everything here is the result of a lot of podcast listening, and the outcome is an app that does everything you want to do, without the unnecessary features or fuss.

The UI is simple, the ads aren’t intrusive and so much of the fuss associated with most podcast apps is just removed. If you listen to podcasts, download this! The best podcast apps by far. One issue I have is that it isn’t possible to view all downloaded episodes of a podcast, like Apple Podcasts supports. Finding all the downloaded episodes of one podcast is frustrating but beyond this, it works great.Additionally, after you follow a podcast, you can’t view the about anymore. I understand it’s annoying but perhaps in the three dots so if you do want to, you can?

Overcast is an excellent app for organising your favourite your podcasts. It has a great download manager UI to change download settings and see downloaded podcast episodes. The UI and UX are super clean as well, keeping up with Apple’s ever changing design guidelines. As a bonus, there are so many tiny little things you can customise. For example, you can make an episode play immediately when you tap it.Best of all, it doesn’t gate keep many of its features behind the subscription service Overcast Premium. In fact, the app doesn’t even push an advertisement of the service. Overcast premium only removes a very small podcast advert at the top and supports the developer who made the app.I highly recommend this app to anyone who really likes listening to podcasts!
The most humble app I've ever seen

This app has all the irritating features seen in other free apps either turned off or tuned down to bare minimum. They don't even ask for a review. You literally have to go to the settings menu and give it. Functionality wise, it has more features that almost all other podcast app. The *only* thing I feel is missing is the listening stats like those available in Audible.
Everyone hated the new episode-limit strictness, so it's gone!
You can now also set all limits at once in the main settings screen, and manually toggle whether specific episodes are included in or ignored by the limits you set.
