First, thanks to the developers who built the wonderful app. It is useful and translated sentences are more natural than the G app I think. Just one thing I'm getting annoying thing is UI. The camera button and clear button are too close to the text field. when I type a sentence I got a missed tap those buttons. I know this is my mistake however if this problem solves this app gonna get five stars.

Everybody kept telling me to try this app because it’s supposedly so much better than all the other ones. After using it myself, I can’t help but wonder if I downloaded the wrong app or not because this is terrible. If you translate a text it will make up its own sentences and remove other parts of the original text. What it does translate, it translates smoothly, I will give it that. But I don’t have time to go through a text to figure out what this thing has made up or removed every time I translate something. GT at least translates the whole thing.

追記: 6/11に最初のレビューを書きましたが、6/15現在、もう音声(翻訳の発音機能)が付いていました。ありがとうございます。AI翻訳なのでより自然で、Web版をよく使用しています。いちいちwebでやるより便利かと思いアプリ版もインストールしてみました。 PC版では音声も聞けるがスマートフォン版では音声が聞けないので、アプリなら使えるかと思ったが音声の機能はなし。その機能を期待してインストールしたので星は3つです。今後つけてくれることに期待です。他の方も言うように翻訳は素晴らしいですが便利な機能はGoogle翻訳より少ないので、Google翻訳と併用する形でつかっています。 1つのアプリ(DeepLのみ)で完結できるようになることを期待しています。

Deepl translates a lot better than Google does and is my go to resource for translations but the app is terrible. The Deepl site translates better than the app. Why? Take the same text and translate it on deepl.com vs this app and see what I mean. I was waiting for them to finally release an app just for ease of convenience but I guess I’ll delete it until the app matures a little more.
