Zperiod turns the periodic table into something you can explore, rotate and understand. Tap any of the 118 elements to see its atom in 3D, then watch bonds and chemical reactions unfold step by step in animated 3D labs.
It is made for students who want to see chemistry, not just memorize it.

- Tap an element to open its atom: a nucleus of protons and neutrons, with electron shells and orbiting electrons
- Rotate the atom with one finger to study its structure from every angle
- Read an info card for each element: atomic structure, physical and chemical properties, discovery, a short description and everyday uses

Eight animated labs show how atoms bond and how chemical reactions work:
- Covalent bond (H₂)
- Ionic bond (NaCl)

Private by design
Zperiod has no ads, no accounts, no analytics and no in-app purchases. The app does not connect to the internet. It keeps only your preferences (language, theme, and whether you have seen the intro and tours) on your device.
Data source
Element data comes from PubChem, a chemistry database maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
