￦1,100 · iPad용으로 디자인됨 · macOS용으로는 확인되지 않음
Explore the iconic Bayeux Tapestry as a complete, high-resolution interactive gallery.
Scroll to pan across all 70 meters of the beloved medieval masterpiece, pinch to zoom to get a closer look at the detailed scenes, and follow the story more easily than ever before.
The built-in guide contains story cards with scene notes and interpretive translations of the original Latin titles to help unravel the details. Explore the text and the tapestry follows along, or tap a card to centre the gallery on that part of the tapestry, while the position timeline shows where you are in the overall work. The guide can be hidden whenever you'd like more space for a fullscreen view of the tapestry.
An excellent teaching resource for students, visitors to the museum exhibition, or anyone studying the Tapestry and wanting to understand the story.
Designed for iPhone and iPad, in portrait and landscape. All imagery is bundled for offline viewing. No tracking or data collected.
This is an independent guide researched from multiple sources, with notes that are intended to help explore the story, not to replace scholarly translations or research. Imagery from Wikimedia Commons.
The Bayeux Tapestry is on public display at the British Museum, London, from 2026 until Summer 2027, after this it will return to Bayeux, France.
