Soccer Load is a focused tool for football (soccer) coaches, sport scientists and S&C staff who use small-sided games (SSG) to drive training load.

ESTIMATED LOAD
Enter pitch size, player count and session duration. Get an estimate of the external load (total distance, high-speed running, sprint distance, PlayerLoad, high-power distance, accelerations/decelerations) based on a published area-per-player regression for elite youth players.
TARGET AREA PER PLAYER
Pick a target metric (total distance, high-intensity running, sprint distance, metabolic power), the SSG type (with or without goalkeepers) and, optionally, a playing position. Soccer Load returns the area per player needed to replicate official-match intensity, taken directly from a published reference table (25 elite adult players). Optionally enter your own pitch size and player count to see whether you are below, within or above the target band.
Every scenario can be laid out on a scaled pitch diagram and exported as an image or a one-page PDF report.
