Muzz (formerly MuzMatch) is the world’s biggest Muslim marriage app. And the best part? We’re proudly Muslim-owned.
Muzz connects you with a community of 20 million Muslims looking for marriage. More than 1,000,000 Muslim marriages have already started on Muzz, so yeah, we know a thing or two about helping Muslims find their person.
Looking for marriage? You’re in the right place. Muzz was built with Muslims in mind from day one, with features designed to help you meet your person in a way that feels safe, intentional and halal. Because finding your spouse is hard enough without having to explain what a Wali is.
And when you just want to connect with the wider Muslim community, there’s Jamaa — our dedicated social app built to amplify Muslim voices, not censor them. Share what’s on your mind, find your people and join the conversation.
SAFETY FEATURES

Break The Ice: Let us help you start the conversation. Add three icebreaker questions to your profile, and we'll reveal your match's answer once you've both connected.
Let Your Personality Shine: Sometimes simply saying Salams or having a brief bio might not fully capture your story. Are you a cat person who loves to visit museums? We've added Personality and Interest options to make your profile stand out.
Stay Intentional: With chat limits, you can focus on meaningful conversations instead of endless small talk, quality over quantity.
Connect Nationwide: Moved to the city but still looking for a Muslim partner back in your hometown? Use Travel Mode to find Muslims in places such as; California, Texas, Michigan and New York.
HOW IT WORKS

3. We'll show you compatible single Muslims near you who fit your filters and preferences
4. Like them if you're interested, Pass on them if you're not
5. You control who can speak to you. Once you like each other you can start chatting for free
6. Take things to the next level with a voice or video call
7. Complete the other half of your deen and get married!

What matters to me most is how genuine is the owner of any muslim marriage app and his team in helping their Muslim brothers and sisters seeking halal and marry and how truly Islamic the app people are (are they accepting every Muslim and allow him/her express themselves freely to get the right spouse?). And from what I’ve seen so far in the Muzz app social window and in the sisters bios and in my own bio (I’m a man), I could say that Muzz is a reliable app to find a wife/husband and socialize freely (as long as you don’t bluntly offend others). And of course Allah knows better, I don’t know other brothers’/sisters’ experiences with the Muzz team. My only hope is that the app owner (sorry forgot his name and can’t go see my followings on the social window on the app cuz this review would go away) does not play with algorithms to make it harder for compatibles to cross so that we pay for more features. But if he designed it smooth then he and his team get our money for their halal work and important service they provide for us. If that’s the case, I ask Allah to reward them in dunia and aakhirah.
Suggestion: Notes for matches
HakeemHarun
Hey devs,I have a suggestion for the app. Its called Notes feature for matched chats. Its like personal notes for ourselves to write about the matched person. Its great to have that feature instead of having a physical notes or elsewhere in the phone, the app itself compliments that feature it’s gonna be really useful. Thanks

False identity
bungaislam
From my personal experience, I encountered someone who claimed to be an imam from Sarawak. On the app, he used a different name that was not his real identity. After doing my own research and discovering his actual name, I found conflicting information — he presented himself as being in his 20s, but official records indicated that he was actually in his 40s.Even the photos used appeared to be edited to make him look much younger, while publicly available information from the Sarawak Islamic Religious authorities shows that he is actually much older. This raises concerns about the lack of proper identity and age verification on the platform. I strongly suggest that the app implement stricter verification measures to ensure users are genuine and transparent about who they are. This is important for user safety and trust, especially on platforms meant for meaningful connections.
Developer Response
Salaam Bungaislam, Thank you for taking the time to share this with us, and we’re so sorry to hear about your experience. We take concerns around identity accuracy and user safety very seriously. The situation you’ve described is exactly the type of concern our Trust & Safety systems are designed to help prevent. To clarify, Muzz has several layers of protection in place to help ensure authenticity on the platform. These include optional and mandatory verification checks (such as photo verification and ID verification in supported regions), as well as a dedicated Trust & Safety team that reviews reports of suspected fake accounts, impersonation, or misleading profile information. When a concern like this is reported, our team investigates the account using available signals (including verification status, profile activity, image consistency checks, and user reports). If any violations are found, appropriate action is taken, which may include warnings, restrictions, or account removal. That said, we understand that no system can guarantee 100% prevention of misuse and we recognise how important it is for users to feel confident that the people they are speaking to are genuine. Feedback like yours is important and is shared with our product and safety teams as we continue improving our verification processes. We would also strongly encourage you to report the specific profile directly in-app if you haven’t already, as this allows the case to be formally reviewed and escalated with full account context.Thank you again for raising this and for helping us improve safety on the platform.Muzz
Don’t remove people who liked(in travel mode) after subscription expires
AmpangUnicorn
I applaud you on such a great app especially for women which allows for a safe environment to communicate with potential matches. However, I am really surprised that you deleted all the people who liked me (in travel mode) but I hadn’t liked them back after my subscription ended. This is really unfair because I intended on following up on many of these profiles after my subscription ended but now all of them have disappeared. I paid for my subscription and therefore should be entitled to have access to these profiles. Please consider changing this policy of yours or at least give people notice that this will happen. It’s unfair
