Your notes are the starting point. Let's turn them into progress.
Upload your lecture slides, PDFs or revision notes and turn them into a personal study path with StudySmarter. Create AI flashcards, understand tricky topics and practise what you need for your next exam.
FROM A PILE OF NOTES TO A PLACE TO START
Three modules to revise and a folder full of slides? Bring your materials together and let AI turn them into tools you can actually learn with.
• Get explanations and summaries of your material
• Create flashcards to practise key ideas
• Follow a learning path with chapters, lessons and questions
Spend less time making revision resources from scratch. Start using them.
REVISION WITH A CLEAR NEXT STEP
Your study planner gives your material a structure. Work through a chapter, read the explanations and check your understanding with interactive questions. See your progress and pick up where you left off.
Whether you're revising for GCSEs, A levels or university exams, build your path around your own course materials.
FLASHCARDS MADE FROM YOUR MATERIALS
Generate AI flashcards from your notes, create your own or explore sets shared by other students. Practise definitions, formulae and vocabulary by recalling the answer before turning the card over.
Use spaced repetition to revisit topics over time. Fit in a few cards on the bus or settle into a longer revision session.
STUCK ON HOMEWORK? WORK THROUGH THE TOPIC
Ask the AI assistant questions about your study materials and get explanations to help you understand them. Use the homework scanner to capture a problem as input, then reinforce what you've learnt with flashcards and practice questions.
CHECK WHAT YOU KNOW BEFORE THE EXAM
Recognising a page in your notes isn't the same as remembering the answer. Use quizzes, exercises and practice tests to find the gaps.
• Practise with multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions
• Try practice exam mode and review your results afterwards
• Go back to the topics that need another look
TAKE YOUR REVISION OFF THE PAGE
Create study podcasts from your materials and listen on the go. Revisit a topic on your commute or switch things up when you need a break from reading.
GOOD NOTES DESERVE TO BE SHARED
Explore flashcards, revision notes and summaries shared by other students. Find resources to complement your own and share your sets with classmates or coursemates.
From sixth form to your final year at uni, keep your materials, practice and progress together with StudySmarter.

The app has been really helpful and affordable, key features are free making it more accessible, but it can improve. The study sets fail to load sometimes and it gets really annoying when I’m trying to create flash cards or study. If this can be looked into and fixed, it would be amazing.
