Very good browser, a little slower than chrome but faster than Mozilla and Edge.My main thing I would like changed with this is the Home Screen. On the google Chrome Home Screen you can access your account and google drive on the top right hand corner of the screen, where as on brave I have to search something (I usually just type in google) to bring up the list of websites. Only then is the option of accessing my google account available and I can then access my drive and gmail etc. Other than that, loving the protection brave provides and watching YT with no ads. Keep up the good work team.

No way to reopen lost tabs

I really didn’t want to write this, as Brave has served me very well maintaining my browsing for a few years, until now where I ran into a big flaw in its design. See, Brave had suddenly crashed on me, and when I went back into it I got the standard message of if I would like to restore my lost tabs, and I said “Yes”. But it didn’t do that, it just stayed stationary without restoring anything. And this wasn’t a small amount of tabs lost either, many, MANY TABS, had been lost. So I closed and reopened Brave, nothing. Just an empty tab. Now panicking slightly, I start looking up how to restore lost tabs, and NOTHING was helpful: All the videos I watched were on the Desktop version, no help with the iPad version. I tried searching as well, it said to go to “History” and “tap the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner” - there were none to tap. Also tried suggested tapping “Reopen Closed Tab”, but that too was nowhere to be found, even in the “All Settings” option. So nothing helped at all, so I tried going to the Brave Community website to ask for help, but that asked me to create an account with them, without giving me the option of going as “Guest” which I didn’t want to do for one single problem. So alas, I had to write this review, which I am LIVID about because Brave had served me so well for so long, until now, with the discovery of this CRITICAL FLAW that seems only to be in the iPad/iOS version and not on their other ones. I hope Brave can fix this issue quickly, because until then for anyone else, beware of this issue that may happen to you as well.

If I could give it six stars, I would.Sleek yet simple interface, love the ever-changing, gorgeous wallpaper used on the home screen. It is user-friendly, so it’s definitely worth the initial, brief effort to change over from whatever browser you use now. Brave does feel safer and better to use. I am glad I followed the recommendation of a tech expert here in NZ to switch to using Brave for security reasons. Cybersecurity is a real issue these days. So I highly recommend this browser to anyone who wants a safer, more simple yet more attractive, browsing experience! Do it today. You won’t regret it.

Get Brave, it’s the best. That’s about the size of it. If you want to push back against the unceasing intrusions in to your life but, want to remain online, get Brave. You know how you can tell Brave is best for this, it’s because the exact sort of international ahh-swipes that don’t like the obstacles Brave puts in their way, do their level best to get companies in the public sector to program elements of their online footprint to not operate if Brave is the browser being used. This makes me want to stay with Brave even more and should do the same for you. Get Brave and annoy the people that need to be annoyed.
