An app worth getting!!

This app is the best editing app that I’ve ever purchased!! The fact that you can download the end product and still have great quality is a great benefit that this app provides!! I love the fact that even if you haven’t purchased the app, you can still still get a reasonable amount of filters unlike others 😍 You can also edit videos, 3D photos and normal photos too! This app also provides effects as well as cool filters. Another cool feature is that you can save a video as a Live Photo which enables the chance of having a Live Photo that turns into a video on your Home Screen!! I never normally rate and review apps but this one is a hands down five stars 😍🌟

I love prequel since it’s apart of my coloring because I’m a Fanpage but I’ve tried putting in my video it keeps saying this type of content can’t be edited and prequel is a big part of my coloring!! Why isn’t it working can u fix it?!!! Btw Check out my Account cgslushyy!

Scam and fraud

Beware of this company. I was shown an ad on Instagram to trial a free period. I clicked on the ad and Downloaded the app. I was also asked to provide credit card details but reassured if I cancelled my subscription before the trial ends, it wouldn’t be an issue. I cancelled my subscription through my apple apps or what I thought I did. However over the months I noticed small payments of fortnightly charges being made to my credit card. When I went back to look at my Apple ID subscriptions prequel was not on the list. Prequel continued to charge my credit card. After much googling, I had no luck. Finally contacted prequel and appears they had a loophole in 2 different subscriptions. I was finally able to cancel after contacting them but beware that this company is very sneaky in how they operate. Total scam and they won’t refund my money.

Though you got a confirmation letter that was stating that it is another type of subscription and all the details on how to unsubscribe were there present as well. Also, you may find the information on how to cancel the subscription in the 'I want to cancel my subscription' in the FAQ. We highly recommend you reading the Terms of use of each app before you sign up for a subscription and apologize again for the whole situation.

Me and a bunch of my friends have loved and utilized prequel for many years. I introduced the app to them when they noticed the unique filters and effects I had used. We love it so much, we were considering making a yearly subscription.That is until recently, we found that OVER 50 of the free features we had used over the years are now locked behind a paywall. We were then offered a ‘discounted’ subscription for the same content. Not to mention, there were no filters or effects added to replace these features whatsoever. This is disappointing and dissatisfying, and a poor way to retain the user and entice them to subscribe. Instead I recommend preserving the features your users have learnt to love. THEN provide new and exciting content that they need to pay for. Repackaging old features and advertising them as a ‘variety’ of new and exciting additions is not the way to go. If anything, it is off putting for the user and takes the effort and hard work away from the developers that worked on actual new features.
