SEE IT ON A MAP
Every time you add a place to visit, it’s immediately pinned on your Google Maps-based travel map. No need to pull up different travel apps and websites to organize plans and see them on a map - you can do it all in the Wanderlog trip planner app! Plus, if you’re visiting points in order, lines will connect the different pins on the map so you can see your route (perfect for road trips!). You can also export all your places to Google Maps too.
STORE PLANS OFFLINE
All your plans are automatically stored offline on the Wanderlog travel planner app - especially helpful during a road trip with poor signal and international travel.
GET ON THE ROAD
Looking for a road trip planner? Travelers can plan their trips and stops with Wanderlog. See your route on a map, or try our route optimizer to automatically rearrange and plan your route to save travel time. See estimated times & distance traveled between places to make sure it all fits, and total time and distance traveled for a given day to make sure you’re not driving too long. Plus, you can add unlimited stops along your road trip for free.
COLLABORATE WITH FRIENDS
For group travel planning, add your tripmates with their email address or by sharing a link to the itinerary. Like for Google Docs, everyone can collaborate in real-time. Set permissions and choose whether people can edit or just view your travel plans.
STAY ORGANIZED
Access flights, hotels, and attractions in one app. Forward flight and hotel confirmation emails to import them directly into your trip plan, or connect your Gmail to automatically add them. Prefer to keep high-level plans? Make generic lists like ‘Things to do’ and ‘Restaurants’ you want to eat at. Traveling on a tight schedule and want to create a detailed itinerary? Organize your day by adding start (and end) times, perfect for keeping track of tickets and reservations.
GET INSPIRATION & INFORMATION
For each place, see key info like a description and picture of the place, average user ratings with links to reviews, opening hours, address, website, and phone number. Stay inspired by exploring top travel guides from the web that feature viewpoints, attractions, and restaurants, and from lists from Google Trips and Google Travel, as well as by other Wanderlog users, and add things to do from those guides to your trip plan with 1 click.
CONTROL YOUR SPENDING
Set a budget for yourself or a group. Take control of your spending and keep track of all expenses. For a group trip, split a bill with other people and easily calculate the cost. Keep a record of who paid for what, how much everyone owes, and settle debts between tripmates.

Love this app for all my travel planning

I've been using Tripit for years to plan out my journeys and I love how it keeps all my trips in one place at a glance but Wanderlog is SO much better in nearly all ways. I've only used it for one trip so far but I'm busy planning an overseas trip now with more complexity and so far so good. I love how it suggests attractions to visits when you add a place, I love how easily you can shift things around if you change your mind about the order of visiting. And of course seeing them on a map. I LOVE the budget section, keeping a track of costs is very cool (although I'm not sure I want to see how much I've already spent for my upcomingn trip!). And I love that you can split it with those travelling with you, even better!! I love how you can share it with friends easily - one asked what the app was. The accommodation feature is great unless you try to add an address it doesn't recognise. English addresses sometimes just have a house name and no street number so it won't allow you to add it. Transit section - it would be great if you could add car travel as an option, currently there is only Bus or Train. I am being picked up and driven to somewhere but I can't add that which is annoying. The main thing missing is the integration with your calendar. Tripit does this and it's one of the most important features for me - so much so, that I have to continue using Tripit until Wanderlog adds this function which is a pain as it's doubling up on my planning. Once this is added I guess I'll have to ditch my old faithful companion Tripit. Thanks for a great app so far though :-)
Great app under constant development

[edit] Updated my review score because I think the team has put a lot of work into performance. I haven’t noticed any issues recently and the app is going from strength to strength :) …Great features and app, and I’m happy to pay the Pro subscription fee. It’s a shame that the performance renders it increasingly unusable as the trip I’m planning gets longer. It’s even worse on desktop (I recorded a total blocking time of 45 seconds just to enter some text), but even on iOS each interaction is taking upwards of 5 seconds to get a response. I’m planning a 2 month trip, and it’s gotten to the point where I’ll edit some text or select some activities I want to move, and then go and do something else for 30 seconds while I wait for the app to catch up…
Good potential, but has to update the interface

I love this app, as it has almost everything that you need to plan any trip. The problem is confusing user interface, with a lot of pop-ups that appear suddenly and overlap necessary information. It’s hard to understand how to use it at first and you need to kinda get use to the things, which is annoying. The list of the places works weird, as at first you add there places you want to visit and if you want to drag them to specific date they just got removed from there. It feels that website has a better ux, than the app. I wanted to buy the app to contribute to the team, but the promo is SO WEIRDLY EXPENSIVE that I prefer to use free version and still have all the main functionality. Who would pay that amount of money just to get additional one or two features, when the app works fine even at the free version? You should create different price plans.
Wanderlog just got even better! Enjoy our new Import from anywhere feature: paste a link or share reels to automatically create an itinerary. We’ve also refreshed the app’s visuals, improved performance, enhanced maps, made trip planning easier, and fixed issues with map markers and the media gallery. Enjoy exclusive discounts!
