Honestly, Boo is a really good app overall and I’ve enjoyed using it more than I expected. I really like how much more personality-focused it is compared to a lot of other social apps. There are plenty of ways to show your interests and personality, rather than everything just being based on pictures and a short bio. The overall design is also nice, and the app feels different from a lot of the other apps out there. One of the biggest positives for me is the amount of ads. They’re there, but they aren’t constantly shoved in your face or making the app difficult to use. I think the balance is pretty good, especially compared to some other free apps.My biggest complaint is the daily limit on how many people you can view or interact with. It feels quite restrictive, especially when you’re actively trying to find new people. You can go through your daily amount surprisingly quickly, and once you reach the limit, you have to wait for it to reset or use other options to continue. I think increasing the daily limit, particularly for free users, would make the experience a lot better. That being said, I still think Boo is a genuinely good app. The personality features, community aspect, profile customisation and relatively small amount of advertising make it enjoyable to use. It feels like an app where you can actually get a better idea of someone’s personality rather than just judging everything from a few photos.Overall, I’d definitely recommend giving Boo a try. There are a few limitations that can be frustrating, but there’s a lot to like about the app, and I think it has a lot of potential.
