I got sad and disappointed after using this app for so long now
Carmii_lilbewwy
I have been really happy and grateful for this app after using this for almost a year now, however just recently the newest update made me so disappointed :(( i can no longer use my most fav tools in this app.It made me so sad…i have been so loyal to this app ever since but i never knew that it will change to this point huhu i hope it to change again; pls hypic team, bring back those very useful tools again, just pls add some ads to watch instead so that it will still benefit to u but at the same time still user friendly :>> Thank you hypic team! I’m looking forward seeing better experience again! :))
Used to be amazing, now ruined by greed!
@iamprincelabra
I’ve been a loyal user of Hypic for a long time, but the recent updates have completely ruined this app. Bytedance Pte. Ltd. has gotten ridiculously greedy. Almost EVERY decent feature, basic editing tool, and filter that used to be free is now locked behind an overpriced paywall. Even the basic filters are absurdly expensive now. Every single time you tap on a tool, a pop-up forces you to pay for a subscription. What made this app stand out in the first place was how accessible and user-friendly it was, but now it feels like a cash grab. To make matters worse, the developers clearly do not care about their users or read reviews at all. Countless people are complaining about the exact same paywall issue, yet Bytedance completely ignores the feedback and keeps locking more basic tools behind subscription tiers.I’m done adjusting and finding workarounds. Unless Bytedance actually starts listening to user feedback and brings back fair access, I’m deleting this app and moving to a better alternative. Very disappointing!
bad update <\\3

i’ve always loved hypic because it was the only editing app i’ve been using. it was free, easy to use, and had everything i wanted. i’ve been loyal to this app for years and i honestly don’t use any other app besides this one. i don’t understand why every single feature needs to be paid, and it’s honestly frustrating because not everyone can afford to pay just to edit their photos. i would have preferred seeing ads than having so many essential features locked in behind a paywall.genuinely worried that ALL the tools will eventually becomes paid, leaving the free users a small fraction of what hypic used to offer. i really hope you’ll reconsider this direction because this app has always stood out for being accessible, and that’s exactly why many of us has liked it and stayed loyal to it.
Disappointing update </3

It was really unfortunate to see that some of the tools i often use are now locked and paid. I used to looove hypic for being the only free and easy editing app i knew and used, until this update came out. Although most of the features are still free, it’s disappointing to know that I now have to pay to access certain features just like some of the effects and especially the adjustments. Like why would you guys strip me of my freedom to dehaze my photos or add the 3D flash and CRT TV 2 effect💔 I’m honestly really worried they’ll lock more tools and ask you to pay just so you could use more than half of what the app offers. God forbid a girl has a fully free editing app to enhance her photos and unleash her creativity. I’m hoping they’ll do something about this, but i doubt that cause “money>>>” right? Please don’t lock more features.
