Here is what is included in iMissal:
1) A complete Missal:
Liturgical Calendar: Full calendar displaying all of the liturgical seasons. The calendar is color coded based on liturgical season and shows Holy Days of Obligation, Solemnities, Major Feasts, Saints, etc. Calendar is currently available for years 1990 - 2050.
Mass Readings: All the Mass Readings for every liturgical cycle (A,B,C,I,II) are included! This includes First Reading, Psalm, Second Reading, Alleluia, and Gospel for all Sunday and Weekday Masses. Reading text is always available for every day, no WIFI connection necessary. Uses translations officially approved for Mass in the U.S. Great resource for Lectors and RCIA.
** The liturgical texts provided in iMissal are used with the permission of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine and the International Committee on English in the Liturgy. They are the official texts approved for use in the dioceses of the United States by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The apps are good itself, but the only issue is it doesn’t continuously reading if the internet connection is slow and sometimes the readings are not the one which is on daily reading.I hope they would fix it.Date: November 2024 - No more voice reading anymore. Please update

I have had this app for more than 5 years and I used it for my scripture readings. It’s a perfect way to keep abreast of the mass service specially when you are in a foreign country and they are using their native language.I really love this app. It’s just differs when we celebrate special holidays in our country.

I'm glad to come across this app. As a lector, I find this app handy and useful. I use it for practice before the Mass. It helps me a lot in knowing the correct pro nunciation of uncommon Biblical words because of its Audio feature.
Incorrect mass readings

I've been using this app since 2015 and sadly, it's data has been incorrect lately. Mass readings are not the ones read in church! Giving feedback via the app support page provided on the app (for iPhone) is also difficult since you need to make an account with another website in order to send feedback/request for support. Lastly, last update was back in October!!
Fixes for iPads running older versions of iOS (Prayers Section Crashes).
