This is the best app there is compared to their competitors. Other apps like Headway (one of their competitors) sound artificial. They sound robotic when talking and i dont like that. I think they use AI for their content unlike Blinkist, when you listen to them, it feels like you’re having a conversation with a real human being. You can hear the emotions in the voices and it really helps me absorb and focus to what im listening. This is the first time i have ever left a review on anything. Im glad i came across this app. Best purchase ever.
User Experience should be improved
Mjjj ✌🏻
I love blinkist so much, but personally, I think shifting the reading experience from turning pages horizontally to vertical scrolling is a bad idea on a mobile app (specifically, using iphone). Some of us prefer to read as if Blinkist were a book rather than simply another social media platform where you scrholl to pass time. The formatting is also something to improve of in the vertical scrolling as some text are out of format and are being repeatedly shown on screen. As a suggestion, still provide the option to turn pages horizontally. Allow users to choose their preferred reading style.Overall, Blinkist is a great app. The content is great and wholesome. Just improve your user experience.
What a scam not useful at all
2 years scammed
They don’t have the books I want to read. So buggy. And terrible customer service. They scammed me into paying for 2 years. Auto renewal is automatically turned on when you subscribe and they make it so confusing to turn off auto renew. I just learned that you have to click “cancel subscription”. Which feels like you are cancelling a subscription you paid for a year. They don’t make it clear so they could rope you in. I contested that with their customer service and they only said it’s my responsibility or that I am st****d for not reading every policy they put in inconspicous spaces and in tiny fonts that no one reads.Clearly scamming people with silly auto renewal policies is how they make money now. Biggest regret is this purchase
