I’ve never written review for a game before, but I ended up enjoying Overgeared Hero more than I intended, so I wanted to share my thoughts. After more than a week of playing, it’s clear the game was made with passion. It has a lot of content, great characters, creative kits, and awesome animation sprites.That said, there are a few things that could use adjustment. Gear enhancement stones feel too slow to obtain compared to the abundance of rank-up scrolls, which feels unbalanced. Perhaps intentional but if not, adding more ways to get them or increase their gain would really help. Also, pets can’t be used in Tower of Trials (ToT). It’s not a big issue on its own, but if other modes revolve around hard-earned gear and pets (at least, as an F2P player) it feels unfair, as it’s also the only mode where they’re restricted.Overall, I appreciate how the game feels fairly balanced for F2P players, especially through events such as hero fragments that are otherwise unobtainable without them. I understand the need for P2W options for these, but I hope it never leans too far in that direction. Please keep taking care of the game—my respects 🫡

Giving back the 5 stars because the problem got fixed. It’s a fun game and I am happy I get to play it again.Old: I enjoyed this game and I did pay to get features and ad-free access. Then after the update an hour ago, it has been taken out of my region and I can no longer update or play the game :))

Lazy Devs, Toxic rates, Extremely P2W, no QOL changes

Abysmal rates of everything, Non-scaling rewards, No character presets, Unrewarding longterm dailies, Repetitive cycling events with Extremely P2W mechanics, connectivity issues for a non-live pixel game. Imagine getting only 300 coins daily after 2 months of gameplay for 50k level ups of 3 items, unbalanced and OP enemies, why make game extremely hard for pve is beyond me, ofcourse unless you pay with absurd amount of money for an inkling of upgrade due to abysmal rates. Game’s top player already leaving the game. Game is dying not because game is bad, but balancing is so neglected and devs are lazy. I will leave the game once my guild becomes inactive, only reason I am staying btw.

I played this before it got upgraded. The texts were incomplete and only keywords sometimes with “ui_item_name” and all that. Now that I’m playing again, I must say the game improved a lot! More characters and more content. We also have events and dungeons now. Great art style and game mechanics. My only concern is that enemies get too strong at the boss stages or levels. But overall, this is a very amazing game! Kudos to the developers!
