Library of foods isn’t large, but app is still superb
Lopez_37
The app’s library isn’t rich in popular brands in Poland, but after week or two of adding food on our own, it becomes much better calorie tracker than myfitnesspal. Interface is smooth, polished and works really fast; recommendations for every meal type and automatic assignment of meals by hours make tracking such a simple task, that it makes the app every price.Widgets are very useful, Foodnoms has literally the first “quick-action” ones that I actually use.Huge advantage is a fact that everything is stored in iCloud and the only thing the app needs is a identifier that is passed by Login with Apple. It makes that I am not worried about leaving my personal data at another server. I didn’t even feel that I needed to make an account (well, because I didn’t).
A Delightful Experience

Using this app is pure joy - the integration with Shortcuts makes it incredibly convenient, the UI feels smooth and intuitive, and the Liquid Glass design gives it a modern, premium touch.
Developer Response
Thank you for the kind words! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying Foodnoms and appreciate your support.
Great app - lacking some features in Europe
BigBoySummer
Amazing app that’s more than enough for calorie tracking. Simple, fast, easy to use and with lots of MFP features without overwhelming layout. My biggest issue for an European is that the database seems quite small (the Polish one to be exact), yet the scanner is a very cool feature that I’ve never seen in other calorie tracking apps. It works pretty bad for european nutrition labels that differ from American ones - if that can be fixed in any way that would be great - it makes adding a new product really easy. Also, a web app (to be used in a browser) also would be great. Anyway - developers are doing a great job so keep it up!
Does it’s job

Great app, smooth interface, much better than myfitnesspal. I would love the scanner to work with polish language.
What's New
- New Carbohydrates setting lets you count carbs with or without fiber, to match the nutrition labels where you live
- New Avoid Cups and Ounces setting lets you start foods in grams and milliliters instead of cups, ounces, and pounds
- New Region setting in Settings › General sets your default units, nutrition labels and carbs
- Quick entries can now have their own serving size and be logged in any number of servings
- Simpler screens for creating and editing foods and quick entries, with a nutrition label that looks more like the real thing
- An option to scan the front of the package for a food’s name and brand is now available when creating or editing foods and quick entries
- Scanning a nutrition label into a food or quick entry you’ve started now fills in the empty fields, and asks before replacing values you entered
- The flashlight is now available in every scanner, and stays on if you left it on
- Hide the goals you don’t need to see every day
- Over and Under goals can now have a tolerance, so a day still counts as met when you’re close. Set it in the goal editor or with the Add New Goal and Change Goal shortcuts
- Goal cards in Insights can now show days met and your daily average together
- New option to base an automatic calorie goal on your average active energy from the past 7 days, so it stays steady throughout the day instead of growing as you move
- Share a whole day of meals with another Foodnoms user
- Shared meals now open on the day they were logged
- New option to save the meal photos you take for Foodnoms AI to your photo library
- Water goals and Apple Health can now leave out the water in foods and count only drinks like water, black coffee, and plain tea
- British and Canadian spelling, like fibre and favourites, when your iPhone uses that English
- Goal complications on Apple Watch, the circular Goal widget on the Lock Screen, and the Goals List widget now follow your Goal Label setting, so they can show how far under or over your goal you are
Bug Fixes
- Fixed sync sometimes staying paused after a brief loss of connection, or a changed setting switching back to its previous value

- Fixed editing a quick entry sometimes also changing a food in your library
- Fixed changes to a food made from the Food Log not saving to your library, or switching back after a sync
- Fixed a goal changed from the Food Log switching back to its previous value and not syncing to your other devices
- Fixed the calorie goal saying your Body Profile was incomplete when Apple Health had no recent resting energy, instead of offering to use estimated resting energy
- Fixed a change to the Scale Active Energy percentage in Body Profile not saving, so the calorie goal kept the old percentage
