At the moment, Boo is the most permissive dating apps on the market. It is cheap and it allows you to send messages without paying extra, which is a feature that is long gone from other similar apps. It also combines a social feed where you can interact with others, comment, post memes etc. It is truly unique and I hope it stays that way, without going on the path of other apps that turned into money hungry emotional exploits for lonely people.

It s a very cute app, with a lot of .. information, types of personalities , compatibilties information . Unfortunately, the selection of the people that are using it is quite …. Not so serious . There is an amount of weird guys that tried to have a conversation with me . This is why I think that dating application should be having a much better filter - like some psychological question to find suitable person and mentally stable . And I thing I did not very liked is that , as a person from a different country , i found a lot of people from other far away countries . Not too much people from the same country as I am .

Horrible functionality and horrible service!

I ve created a profile a week ago, I had to do the verification process, I ve tried 50 times to do their verification and didn’t work at all! I wrote them an email, tried to contact them via their app! Nothing! I thought I must pay their subscription to work my verification! I paid the subscription! Tried again! Nothing worked! I left them more emails and feedback as this is the only way to contact them. Nobody responded! The app it definitely doesn’t work and it looks like a scamm! Fow how long I must wait to be approved after I already paid their subscription?! I asked a refund! I didn’t got any money back! Everything is totally unusable! I paid for nothing and I didn’t get my money back !

Objectively it’s a decent app ig and it’s set apart by the focus on hobbies and personality types, but compared to other big dating apps in the industry, the limited number of daily swipes is a real downside for free users. Also, from my experience, the message-without-needing-to-match-first feature is both good and bad. In my personal experience it was bad, many creepy men that persisted and spammed with messages despite not receiving any answer from me. In my opinion there should be a limit to how many they can send back to back if they don’t get a reply. It’s tiresome to have to block each person who keeps on coming back like that
