Great service with a limited content

After seeing the review (firsts are rate to 1 star) i was thinking not to try Max but I change my mind and I wanna see where I can get. So far, after a week, i didnt encounter any bugs (video, subs and audio are great) and so on. About the ads, well yes, because is a subscription with ads, which is a bit cheaper and Im okay with that. Usually is an ad with about 10-25 second, sometimes 3 ads. But again, thats what im paying for so its okay. The content is limited, but they got great tv shows, and I watch like 1 or 2 episodes per night, so, being s bit limited is okay for me, im not ending a 4 seasons show in one week. Overall, price and content fits to my needs. Thank you.

So my honest review . I do really enjoy the shows . But I can see how greedy the company is . To understand why I have them three stars you have to understand their payment plans . There was this month when I decided to buy the plan with ads . I tought maybe it wasn’t that bad . Not only that there were at least 3 ad breaks with 2-3 ads per break per one episode but they also added extra ads to promote their upcoming or existing shows . I couldn’t enjoy that anymore and so I wanted to upgrade my plan to have no ads thinking I can because I know other streaming platforms have that . Of course hbo max didn’t. So I needed to pay the whole amount again two days after buying the plan with ads .

It used to be ok back when it was hbo because it did not have ads. But now not only they added ads but they also cheapened on the quality. For example if you are on the phone in tbe maximised version, presing the 10 second back function is not working, unless you press it 3 or 4 times, in which case you end up more back than you wanted. Also, in the minimsed version the automatic playing is not working. Not to mention that if you pay the app through your internet supplier you cannot even switch to a more expensive, adless subscription. I would have many more to add but let’s stop here because I think everyone agrees that max is bs.
