It seems like nothing is working anymore. I had to log in 2 times a day, even with a premium account. Too many duplicated notes when syncing, options to edit text on tablet dissaper in different modes (split screen for instance), the cursor dissappears, I don’t even have the time to write all the bugs I discoverd in a month.

Thoughts from a former Premium power-user

I'm a former Premium power user and evangelist with over 1,000 notes. I used Evernote on iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac, Web and Apple Watch. I was happy with my yearly premium subscription. I love how you guys are constantly improving the app (templates, dark mode, etc) and listening to user feedback, so I'm hoping you will listen to mine. Alas, I had to give up Evernote, because of a single, huge problem. There is no real 3-level hierarchy. I tried using stacks, but their only purpose is to make the notebook list more organized, nothing more. Because there is no real 3rd level above notebooks, (or one between notebooks and notes), I cannot have two notebooks with the same name.Example: I work with 15 clients, so I have a notebook for each one. If I want to have further subdivisions, let's say for each client I want to divide my notes between "Marketing" and "Operations", my only option is to go with Stacks. But if I try to create a notebook named Marketing for each client/stack, Evernote will rename it to Marketing 1, Marketing 2, etc. This is because Stacks are not a true categorization label. So right now my only option would be to create notebooks named "Client 1 Marketing", "Client 2 Operations" and so on. Only I don't have 2 categories for each big notebook, I have more like 10-15. I'm sure there's a reason why you're not doing the whole 3-level thing. Probably user-friendliness. And as a Product Manager, I agree with simplicity. But please, give me a switch somewhere deep in the settings to enable this feature. Meanwhile, I'll be on Onenote.

I use it every day for organizing my ideas, notes, meetings, lists. Very easy to use and a lot of improvements all the time to keep up with the new tech and other competitors. I wish there was a direct integration with ink tablets like Remarkable or Kindle Scribe. Hopefully in the future.

Scanable and Evernote integration is bad

I have been using evernote for a long time. It's good, it's not great. The price increase is not worth it, but I did not find a better alternative to move all my data. The thing getting in my nerves is that as I paid user I used to be able to use scanable and save to camera roll. Now to pay extra for scanable, it's not fair.The slightly positive note is better markdown suport în evernote. But again the price hike in the past years has been to big.

New features: - Add captions to your images to make them searchable. Evernote will suggest a caption for you, and you can edit it anytime. - Date mentions are now available. Type @ to insert dates using natural language like "tomorrow", "next Friday", or "1st January". Supports relative dates, and you can customise the display format. - Videos are now transcribed like audio with speaker recognition. - Hand a live transcription to the AI Assistant to get a summary or ask additional questions.
