Lysoniq
remote Hi-Res Lossless
SAR 59.99 · In-App Purchases
Lysoniq is a premium music player/streamer with cross-device remote control. Install it on your Apple devices to seamlessly play music through any one of them and control the app with the others.
Unlike AirPlay, the playing device streams directly from Apple Music at full resolution — enabling Hi-Res Lossless with zero compression or downsampling on compatible devices. Using an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV in your hifi system just became easier. No more extension cables or compromises.
Built to handle huge libraries — load thousands of songs into the player without slowdown. Full queue management with swipe to delete, drag to rearrange, tap to skip ahead, and insert into the queue. True Shuffle that actually randomizes your music.
Browse the full Apple Music catalog with top songs, albums, and playlists across 30+ cities and countries, 17 genres, and dedicated Hi-Res Lossless and Dolby Atmos sections. Access Made For You, Recently Played, New Releases, live radio stations, and all of Apple Music's personalized recommendations. Your full synced library with sorting and filtering included.
Connect and control devices across your home Wi-Fi network with LYNQ. Extend connectivity across cellular data and different Wi-Fi networks with the LYNQ+ subscription.
Built-in Last.fm scrobbling with full history and stats. Four themes including Light, Dark, True Light, and True Dark.
Built from the ground up with audiophiles in mind. Reviewing audio gear? Use a subloop to focus in on a particular section of a track, with the option to add a timer between loops to switch equipment. Output up to 24-bit/192kHz on iOS, 24-bit/192kHz on macOS (played via Music.app), and 24-bit/48kHz on Apple TV (24-bit/192kHz available on tvOS 27 with latest generation hardware).
For streaming on macOS please download the free menu-bar companion app, the Lysoniq Switcher. This provides predictive sample-rate switching when combined with the Lysoniq Mac Remote and native Music app, 44.1 to 192 kHz. Available at https://www.lysoniq.app/macos-switcher.
Now available in 22 languages including Chinese (Hong Kong, Simplified, and Traditional), Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, and Turkish.

1.3.5 15 hr ago
This update introduces the Lysoniq Switcher for macOS and a number of stability improvements across all platforms.
- Lysoniq Switcher for Mac: if a Mac is your streaming device, this free menu-bar companion app sets the Mac's output sample rate to each track's resolution, 44.1 to 192 kHz, before the track begins. Download it from https://www.lysoniq.app/macos-switcher.
MAC
- Songs Detail View: see your songs as columns, like Music.app on the Mac: artist, album, genre, year, audio quality and more. Choose columns with View Options (⌘J), click a header to sort, drag to resize.
- The volume slider now controls Music.app's own volume. You can optionally default back to system volume in Settings.
- Much steadier alongside Music.app. If using the Lysoniq Switcher, be sure to queue music from Lysoniq rather than directly in the Music.app for seamless output switching.
Apple TV
- Now Playing, rebuilt from the ground up: switch between a large artwork view, Up Next cards and an Up Next list, scrub with the remote, watch the queue slide along as each track ends, and control the volume of a Mac, iPhone or iPad you're streaming from (not currently compatible with the Apple TV output volume).
- New menus: long-press menus, Sort & Filter and the Now Playing options use the same glass panels as tvOS itself, and every list highlights the same way.
- Song details now available: a full-screen page you can scroll with the remote, with credits and audio information.
1.3.3 30 Sept
Minor update:
- Lysoniq on macOS is now Lysoniq Mac Remote - a clearer name for what it does: browse and control Apple Music, with playback handled by the Music app.
- Classical tracks now show the composer in Now Playing, the queue and the minibar.
Bug fixes:
- The Mac window resizes again.
- Smart playlists available on the Mac again.
- Plays through the Music app via Lysoniq Mac Remote now update play counts correctly.
- Fixed sidebar stalling issue on macOS 27 beta builds.
The Audio Quality (beta) overlay has temporarily been moved to TestFlight only as refinement on this feature continues.
1.3.2 11 Sept
In this update to 1.3.0:
- New & Popular: the Popular tab now opens with new albums, EPs and singles from artists in your library, plus Hi-Res Lossless and Spatial Audio shelves and a daily featured pick.
- A much faster library: your songs appear seconds after installing instead of filling in over minutes.
- Mac: Lysoniq now plays through the Music app for more transparent streaming quality
- Audio Quality Details (Beta): tap the quality badge in Now Playing to see the bit depth, sample rate and codec if available
- Genres: browse your whole library by genre
- Play counts: sort and filter songs by plays, and see plays and last-played dates in song details.
- Live Activity (LYNQ+): while you control another device, playback appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Customize the card in Settings.
- Wake group devices: opt in, and pressing play wakes the other devices in your LYNQ Group in the background.
- Lysoniq on the Web (LYNQ+, Beta): open web.lysoniq.app in any browser to control playback and browse your library.
- Find Your Mood: editorial mood cards with curated playlists on Home.
- Resume your last queue straight from the idle mini player.
- Korean and Thai added, sorry for the delay.
UI Updates
- iOS 26: a bottom tab bar with a mini player, and Apple Music-style search with recents, and suggestions.
- iPad: a real sidebar with Library and Playlists sections, and a full transport bar with shuffle, repeat, favorite and volume.
- Mac: floating sidebar, a two-column Now Playing queue in wide windows, and playlist artwork in the sidebar.
- Settings redesign for easier navigation.
- Appearance options: artwork corner rounding, a separate theme for Now Playing and albums/playlists, and an always-visible shuffle and repeat option.
1.3.0 7 Sept
New in this update:
- Crossfade (iOS 18+): smoothly blend the end of one song into the start of the next. Turn it on and set the length (1 - 12 seconds) in Settings under Song Transitions.
- Album "About" notes: Apple Music's editorial write-ups now appear on album pages. Tap "More" to read the full notes. (iOS, macOS, and tvOS.)
Library updates:

- The queue view stays in place when you delete a song instead of resetting to the top.
- The queue context menu now includes Favorite, Suggest Less, View Lyrics in Shazam, and the other options available elsewhere in the app.
- Station playback is more stable: the Next button no longer restarts the current song or skips multiple tracks, the queue stays accurate, and the upcoming station song appears within seconds.
