I’ve been using this for quite some time. A steep learning curve for me. But I really wanted to keep this habit. One feature that could make this better: a bill reminder feature. The current way to set reminder for upcoming bills is far from useful. It’ll be helpful if I can set the reminder to be a few days ahead, and keep at it until bill is paid, etc. Basically a page view of all bills payable/paid at a glance will be very helpful. Until then, I have to use another app to manage the bills reminder.

I love this app. I’ve been using this for around 5 years. I’ve recommended this app to so so so many people. They continually maintain the app and i’ve tried so many different finance apps and i still believe this is the best one. Very customisable categories and subcategories with a lot of icons to choose from. Great to plan your budget with. Great overview, filters, graphs. Aesthetically pleasing. Great to manage various accounts, able to track different currencies, able to add in future/planned transactions, there’s an inbuilt calculator.. it’s great!!, i really don’t have much to complain. I wish there were more themes! But there’s still a few to choose from so it really isn’t a dealbreaker at all. If you want an in depth view of your money and if you want a lot of functions instead of a simple budget app, this is the app for you. They even have a page on their website detailing how to use the app and the functions. I really love the hardwork and thought that was put into this. Thank you developers!

It goes beyond simple budgeting, I set up some income categories to be subdivided by purpose (Travel, Helper bonus, Emergency fund, Savings) to know the allocation of a particular savings account. Its a workaround to keep my saving goals and making sure I have the money when I need, rather than rely on budget. This means I also offset one Expense category whenever I do allocation to income category and enter negative income/expense when I actually used the fund. I know its double entry but it works as my replacement to envelope budgeting. Reporting is great, I can easily share with my partner and housemates for shared expenses. Thanks to the developers! Hope I can setup a category not to include in the grand totals of budget or have a report regarding budget, this is a small wish, overall this is a great app!

Just wanted to have a reliable money management app to work. For a few years, Money Pro was reliable. After introducing more and more features, this app gets more and more buggy and always has new problems that takes time to resolve. We pay for an app to reduce the time spent on finance management. Instead, more time is spent troubleshooting. Bank sync sometimes works and sometimes stops working after some updates. And then resumes working after another update few weeks down the road. Mac app works well for some time then crashes and refuses to open after a recent update which adds the Goal feature. Ironically, the Goal of this app is not reliability. After years of using this app, I’m sad to say I’ve finally decided to give up on it. Cancelling my subscription now. If you’re looking to have a finance tracker that you can use for years without headache, better to look elsewhere. Sadly, all that historical data that I have in Money Pro is now useless. Really wanted this app to work. Hope the developers will refocus on reliability and focus in what matters most to the users. Not new features that are nice to have but not so important. Still, giving 2 stars and not just 1 since i did enjoy using this app for a couple of years.
