Lifetime is here. Sidecar+ Lifetime is now available at an early bird price for the next few weeks. Sidecar+ Lifetime is a permanent unlock of unlimited OBD scanning and Trip logging. Many thanks to the 700+ people who responded to the survey to help shape this new membership plan. Also in this release: ▶ New Connectables including traction battery and tire temperatures. ▶ Over 650 new models are now supported by the Sidecar VIN decoder, including many European models of car. ▶ iCloud backups can now be cancelled. ▶ iCloud backups will no longer start while in the middle of a trip. If a trip begins, the backup will be canceled and rescheduled for a later time when the phone is plugged in and connected to wifi. ▶ Fixed a bug where Sidecar wasn't cleaning up after backups, resulting in excess use of the /tmp storage area. ▶ Fixed a bug where non-Lifetime Sidecar+ subscribers weren't able to access Connected Accounts features.

You can now automatically monitor CVT deterioration, engine oil temperature, engine coolant temperature, transmission fluid temperature, fuel rate, mass air flow, commanded lambda, O2 lambda, short term fuel trim, engine load, and throttle position. ▶ Fixed a bug with the Bluetooth connectivity stack that was causing BTLE scanners to stall out and fail to reconnect if left plugged in 24/7. ▶ Fixed a bug where the Scout report "undo" button wouldn't disappear when map edits were submitted.

Custom names will be used when searching, so if you've set up a "Home" pin then searching for "Home" in CarPlay will now take you where you expect to go. ## Intelligent Quick Destinations Quick Destinations now use on-device intelligence to suggest destinations based on your travel patterns, making it easy to get in the car and go. ## Upgraded search engine Search engine results are now ranked based on your personal driving habits, travel distance, and various other factors. ## iCloud backup state panel iCloud backups will now report their progress in a new floating panel. ## Improved onboarding notifications You'll now only receive parameter notifications when new parameters are available for your vehicle, and the notifications will open a sheet showing which parameters were added. ## Place photography The place sheet now includes photography of the location when available. ## PIDDetector support for 11-bit CAN networks A new scan strategy for 11-bit CAN networks can now be used.
