Overall, a good app!For a long time, Telegram has been going in the right direction, but recently began to release updates for the sake of updates. Now and in the future, this only complicates the process of using telegrams and scares away new users (possibly old ones). We need a more thoughtful approach to new features and releases of application updates...And finally add notifications by keyword (tag) - it would be really useful! As a rule, notifications in large channels (groups) are always disabled by submitters, but it would be good to sometimes receive a notification when they write something important for you.

The latest Telegram update feels terrible overall. Instead of actually improving the messaging experience, they shoved in a weird Liquid Glass UI effect that looks overly shiny and confusing rather than elegant — especially on non-iOS 26 devices where it feels forced and out of place. Many users are struggling with transparency and interface clutter because things blend into the background, and the whole “glass effect” just doesn’t match the smooth, functional design Telegram used to have. To top it off, the search bar and navigation have been moved to the bottom full-screen bar in a way that just feels odd and takes up space without actually being easier to use. Instead of intuitive tweaks, it feels like visual noise, and you can barely find what you’re looking for without accidentally tapping something else. Honestly, it’s one of the worst updates I’ve used — tons of gimmicks like AI summaries are fine, but UI decisions feel like a downgrade. Telegram used to be simple and efficient, and now it feels cluttered and awkward. Expect a lot of frustration from long-time users.

Dear telegram team, as you progress your great app, I see some places, that confuses people and worsen User Experience in general. I hope that you find my feedback useful and continue to bring amazing UX to people:1. When I create a chat-bot and distribute across a group of 100+ people chat-bot starts with delays which might take up to 5-10 minutes, when many people are actively using it. Without any “loading” icon or “please wait” message it is really confusing as I cannot understand what is going on and what should be my next step on this screen.2. When chat-bot is being referenced as a part of message in another chat-room (where chat-bot is not functioning) and I click on its reference link - instead of transferring me to the appropriate chat room, where chat-bot is able to respond I just repeat the same message in the current chat room. This confuses people as being non-intuitive and spams chat-rooms (where chat-bot is not functioning, but a link like /items-list is being referenced) with unnecessary messages.

I am a person with severe vision problems and I use Telegram on my iPhone with VoiceOver. For a long time, I refrained from writing anything negative about this app. With each update, this app works worse and worse.Namely, it was impossible to freely scroll through pages between chats, and it was difficult to navigate within the chats themselves. But we, VoiceOver users, tried to cope with this somehow. This morning, after the latest update, my patience ran out. I understand that the developers are working on graphics and other things. But I believe that the rights of all users should be respected, because this is a form of discrimination. The latest update stated: Bug fixes, minor improvements, and more. In fact, VoiceOver users were left with an inaccessible interface, voice and text messages disappeared, and the app lost its purpose altogether. I hope that the developers will pay attention to the feedback and start making changes. Thank you very much for your understanding.
