I am extremely hesitant to write bad reviews. It takes a lot for me to get to the point that I share a negative review. No company is perfect and it is reasonable that mistakes will happen. However, it is unreasonable when the company does not make the effort to correct them. I transferred money from my external account to my Dave account. The transfer was supposed to be an instant transfer. When that didn’t happen, I immediately contacted Dave. When I finally got through to customer service, I was mistakenly told that the transfer would take up to 5 business days. I questioned this since the app said the transfer would be instant, but I was reassured that it would take up to five business days. Five business days later the transfer has still not been completed. I contacted my external bank and they informed me that Dave had indeed received the money and the transfer should’ve been instant since it was done from my debit to my Dave account. After many back-and-forth phone calls, the matter still has not been resolved 10 days later. The story changes every time I call for an update. Secondly, the claim you will receive your paycheck up to two days prior also false. When I first opened the account yes.Then it progressively got later and later now I’m lucky if I see it at 12 midnight the day I get paid. Customer service is extremely important. It is really frustrating when you do not receive accurate information just be honest! Do better!

To be up front they do actually pay for doing them, sometimes. I understand the typical halfway through one of your answers flags it and you’re not qualified but now I’ve had several times where I’ll finish a survey in it’s entirety and I’ll be thanked and redirected to where I’m supposed to get the reward like usual but then out of nowhere instead of taking me to that page it’ll then suddenly give the “looks like you’re not who this was for, take 2¢ for your trouble” like dude I just wasted 25 min and completed the entire survey under the guise of however much then to be rug pulled saying an answer flagged it after all the questions are already over and all that’s left is “thank you for your participation, your reward is waiting on the next window, iclick here if not redirected in 5 seconds” or some variant there of, just to then instead get hit with the 2¢ sorry for wasting your time message. Like I’d even understand if I was 98% done and it happened, but after it was already completed entirely with no flags until I’m supposed to get paid? Really? A slightly more minor version would be the surveys are constantly bugging out where it’ll freeze and not let you progress after getting most of the way thru and the only button you can press is the forfeit reward or to kill the app. Seems not a single other part of the app has issues freezing or loading or anything, only the surveys.

Hi. If you want to get a good loan, type “payday69 •com” into your browser. I’m in my mid 20s, my credit score is below average, in the upper 500s, and I’m currently unemployed but have a part time job. This app has helped me link my bank account and see people just sending me payments through Zelle instead of other apps where the employer has to do direct deposits, and just see a steady amount of money coming into my account every month. From the moment I downloaded and opened the app for the first time, I was able to sign up,get approved, and have $50 in my bank account, all in under 5 minutes. This was easiest app I’ve come across. And signing up to have lower fees and all that since obviously I don’t have any money in my account (which is why I’m going through this whole process). They instantly approve your account for a premium subscription or whatever and let you choose a later date (within a couple weeks or so) when a small amount like $9 will be debited taken out of your bank account so you don’t even have to worry about it until the time comes and you can enjoy the benefits of the subscription right away! I’ve never written a review for any app before but I just had to talk about this app! The only one that has approved me for a year!! You do speak. Hopefully my “request” to have my account deactivated will approve (my God… they’re so pathetic) please stay away from this app. I definitely recommend Vivaldi and Barsik over, refuse Bright.

I found Dave via Facebook and read a lot of comments from people making fun of the service, making it sound like people who need it don’t manage their money very well. I was curious to see what it was about and why others feel the need to make fun of people who use it, so I downloaded the app (not expecting to use it, but to just see what it was). As circumstances presented themselves, being a single mom with zero help from the other parent, and trying to provide for my kids (I work full time and go to school full time so I can put myself in a better place, but until then things are pretty tight) - I found myself facing an overdrawn check fee (I wrote a check to register my daughter for school and had something else clear my checking account that wasn’t supposed to go through, which means I didn’t have enough funds for the check I wrote). I remembered I’d installed the Dave app a couple of weeks ago and within a few minutes, I was approved for a small loan and because I paid the extra $4.99 expedite fee, the money was deposited into my bank account within the hour. Dave only charges a $1.00 fee to loan you the money plus any tip you’re willing to donate, but is not required. When your paycheck is due to deposit, Dave takes the loan and fee back out of your bank account and that’s all there is to it! It’s very easy and painless and definitely worth the $1.00 fee to not have to pay an overdraft/insufficient funds fee to your bank.
