If you’re a parent that is anything like me, the decision to place your child in daycare is an unsettling one at best. Fortunately, I have a fairly flexible schedule and have always been able to figure out ways to accommodate our little girl. Unfortunately, she is now 2 and that accommodation has been getting increasing difficult as she no longer naps much and requires more time and attention in comparison to a well-fed sleepy baby. That change has made it incredibly difficult to still focus on the work I need to do while she is up and wants to play. It took my wife and I (yes, I am the father and writing this) several months to finally find a daycare that we felt comfortable with. Aside from the staff and cleanliness of the facility, a big reason for that comfort is as a result of this app. It has been so nice to receive updates throughout the day as to when and what she ate, if she had a nap and for how long, when diapers were changed, and pictures of her at play. The ability still stay involved and understand what’s going on has removed much of the anxiety we felt as parents leaving our little girl with virtual strangers, especially initially. If you’re looking for a childcare solution, I couldn’t recommend more finding a daycare that utilizes this app and ability, and if you’re operating a childcare facility of any kind I couldn’t recommend more that you get on board with its utilization as well as it will only enhance your clients experience.
I love this app!

My daughter is in her 2nd year of pre-k at our local private preschool. She loves school so much already! I love that this app allows me to know what she is learning during the time she is at school. From the time the children get to school they sign them in, and when you pick them up (or any pre authorized adult) they sign the children out. So you know when your child got to and from school! Which is great if you’re in my shoes because her father and I split so I love knowing that him and his family do their part in raising her correctly too. Depending on what your school does, they can post pictures, activities, announcements, and even private messages to parents of certain children that they need to talk to the parent about. I love being able to see what book they are reading, what they have learned in the day, fun crafts, snack time, music time, etc. the thing I like the most is one child can have multiple accounts. So my daughters father has his own & I have mine. He cannot read the private messages that her teacher and I discuss which is nice because I love having my privacy. Also, this app has made it so easy to make payments for tuition. 10/10 from me! Sure they may have a few issues but it’s once in a blue moon.
Needs a little TLC

This is my first year using the Procare app for my daughter’s school. Unfortunately there are a couple things that I don’t find convenient and more difficult to use. First one being, the app takes forever to open and load. When I use the Procare app, 95% of the time I’m driving from work to my daughters school. Realistically, you need the app to work as soon you open it to use as communication with your child’s school. There are other times that the app doesn’t even work. It’ll take too long to load or just crash and I have to try again. I’m not sure about other parents, but in my case it’s dire that the app is working properly because that is my only means to communication with my child’s afterschool program. My daughter attends an elementary school and no one is able to just walk inside the school after school hours. The doors are locked. I have no numbers to call since the only communication is through the app. And there’s no other way to call and alert someone of your arrival. If you’d think to call the main phone number, the staff has gone home by that time (I arrive at the school 5:45-6 PM).My other complaint comes to sending messages from the app. When I go to pick my daughter up, I send a message stating that I’m I here to pick her up. Like stated above, I’m driving 95% of the time having to operate this app. It would be so much EASIER if there was a copy text option or even an automatic reply to physically choose that you’re here to pick your child up.
Figure Out Your Troubleshooting by Yourself

Update: Finally after 4 days, I was able to login and got the correct center. I had to figure out myself, and the steps include log out, delete app, re-download app, reset password and re-login. IF ONLY when you update features, you sent a proper notification messaging on how to troubleshoot, imagine the less frustrated parents be. ——————————————————— For the past two days, my procare app didn’t work and I keep seeing my old daycare that I left 2 years ago. This is the message I receive from my daycare admin today: Procare changed one of their features as of June 24th that no longer allows parents to “select” which location their child attends. From what I understand, they are working on the issue, but for now the only solution is to add a different email address to their account and have directors resend an invitation to the new email address. Isn’t this a dumb thing? How could this possible enhancing user experience? Who was the idiot decided on this? Why would I want to give multiple email address to manage my children’s schedule? Like life is not hard enough for parents. Whoever decided to remove the “switch school” for multiple location, did not think this through. The least you can do just automatically update the data with the most recent daycare and remove the older one. I DONT WANT TO REGISTER A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS! Fix this and I’ll re-review my rating.
