- Download the app at no initial cost. Further use requires a subscription. A trial may be offered as indicated in the app.
- Subscription prices are shown in the app and charged to your Apple ID upon purchase confirmation.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your App Store account settings. When cancelled, access remains active until the end of the current period; no refunds are issued for unused time.

I really liked WalkFit because it wasn’t complicated (ex. Navigate) and easy to work at your pace in the time frame that’s good for you. One of my favorite things about this app, is it is very realistic. Your coaches (in the videos) are regular people like you and me. One of the videos I like to work out with was with an overweight lady that has decided that she is going to do this (workout) because she was determined to lose weight. She talks to “you” as she’s working out about some of her incentives and/or has gone through. She talks about what was easy for her and what was hard, as well as keeping me motivated (she was a regular person like me). Every day, after I’d finish my regular routines (none of them are super long nor just super hard). WalkFit also provides you with other videos you can choose from and this is where I found the one with Becky. I also looked for a third one and it was aerobics. This instructor gave you options so you won’t overdo (usually if you do you’d give up). So, I did my regular routine, and then I found two more videos (instructors (that I selected to follow). One problem with exercising for a goal is you’ll want to do it too quickly and over do it and then will get burned out. This app gives you what you need but you control the variables. I highly recommend this app for the number one reason I think- it’s realistic. By the way, I was shocked at the weight I lost. Yes, I plateaued but I was expecting that so that’s when I added on another routine (which was the aerobics).

Let’s you work out at your pace

As somebody who has downloaded countless numbers of fitness apps in the past five years, I will tell you right now that this is my 100% opinion about this app. It’s best that I have ever purchased in my life. It has so many at home workouts and my favorite is the one where you just do exercises standing in place. I love the voice of the trainer because shes very calming and if you’re just a beginner for working out it also has a pause button that you can pause your workout so you can sit for a minute and catch your breath instead of the app just going on without you. I deleted all of my other Fitness apps and this is the app that I will continue to work with. it has a section in your profile for your bowl and where you wanna be in two months three months six months or even a year. My goal is to see where I’m at and a year from now and I’m gonna continue to use this app daily even more two or three times a day if necessary if I fill up for it. The best part is is that some of the workouts are only like 8 to 11 minutes long so if you just have to get that little bit of workout in for the day, then it’s right there for you. I absolutely love it that it has a variety of workouts on all different levels. I just did my second day of this app and I love it that I can go back and repeat the same day exercise. Getting strength back after chemo

I am overweight. I admit it. I had cancer 2 years ago and I’ve been suffering from neuropathy ever since due to chemo. Chemo attacked every inflamed arthritic joint in my body and settled into my left knee. Balance has been a huge problem as well as pain after walking just short distances. I’ve had physical therapy and that was good. It did help but I needed more. Then I found this app and it had a slow start option for people like me. I signed up for a 4 week trial. The first day had me panting in pain and puffing like I’d walked up a few flights of stairs. The program wasn’t hard , it was me. I had such a hard time with sideways movements and even simple steps with arm swings threw me off. But it wasn’t the app, it was my weakness. So I waited a day and tried again. Bingo. Still weak but I can complete 3 sets in a row and it’s been a week, with me taking breaks. I’m improving and my balance is getting better. I noticed playing with my grandson I can chase him around for a much longer time. I think the variability in this app is what really works. Instead of pushing so hard you can’t keep up and get discouraged so you stop completely, this app allows me to go at my own pace. Sure I may take longer to reach my goals but I will keep on going and that’s so important. My agile friend can takeoff on this app. It all depends on you but the choice of speed is YOURS.

I downloaded this app February of this year (2025). I didn’t start to take it seriously until March and since then, I’ve lost 20 lbs. The pros: The app is simple enough to navigate, helps you set up a personal plan based on your needs through a questionnaire, it’s got a good variety of workouts you can follow and it tracks your progress pretty well with a calendar and awards you badges for motivation. The cons: The app does randomly stop tracking my steps which I have it linked with my apple watch. It’s very frustrating because non of their recommendations for troubleshooting work and it ruins my workout streak which makes it even more annoying because I’m working very hard to hit my recommended step count (which my watch has tracked) and then it not showing on the app and clocks it as if I didn’t hit my step count. Also, I wish I did more research on the membership, I am paying for the app but I’ve read several reviews stating how there are issues with cancellation and/or getting a refund which through reading the reviews, they do not do or budge on. Also, the do give you options on paying but after making my purchase for the year, it’s a pretty pricy app and there are actual free apps out there, even apple has their own service which is truly free. All I will say is do your research and if you decide to download and pay for this app, it can help you achieve your goals when the app is properly functioning.
