This app does have good elements to it, it’s also easy to avoid the things other reviews talk about if you’re mindful of what to look out for, but the fact is that it’s on the platform, and should be removed. reporting people is ineffective, there’s little identity verification upon signup, and overall i feel like it wouldn’t be hard to create a more safe environment for people of all ages entirely suggestions: create user verification to verify that aren’t catfishing, most catfish on this app lead you to offsite links which you can and will be extorted from (if you let them) active moderation: improving the app improves the funding you have available to maintain the improvements, get rid of the downsides and help your community chat censorship: you censor words that don’t necessarily need to be censored, but won’t censor things that should be censored in their entirety, please work on this matchmaking: just let people choose if they’re looking for something intimate (relationships) or if they’re looking for friendships, make it easy to connect with likeminded individuals and don’t lock it behind a paywall, you’d lose interest from that rather than gain it welcome different interests: if i set my interest to gaming, introduce me to gamers sometimes, if i like movies, introduce me to people that watch similar genres, if i like content creation, then introduce me to other creators, if this app is designed for socializing then embrace its original function, you’ll receive support from the community and will get resources to support your positive changes

First off, the app was boring. It’s hard to break into conversation when the entire chat is screeching about catfish’s. Also, half the users are just 14-16 year old kids with a fake account saying they are 19.The user interface is deceptive, they are constantly pushing pop up “call to actions” in your face telling you to get premium. Every 2 seconds I had to exit out of another pop up. What should have taken 1 click to get to another page took 2-3 clicks. Furthermore, in the sign up process, the last step makes it seem like you need to buy premium to access the app. But there is actually an exit button in the top corner. Wording a CTA to make people think they have to pay for something when they really don’t is slimy. The app overall seems well programmed, nothing felt janky like the other apps do, but whoever the corporate manager for this project is, you are a moron. Do better.

So, I downloaded this app a few years ago and I deleted it like a year ago and would only use it for the group chats they have worldwide. However I redownloaded it about two weeks ago and noticed in the group chats there are like so many bots repeating the same thing like asking in the group chats that they are selling videos not only that it gets worst, PEDOPHILES on the app like straight up pedophiles In these group chats. Monkey on the all you can easily lie about your age so there are so many little kids on these app as well you can catfish or they use real pictures and I try to report them to monkey so many times so they can get off the app but in these group chats there are pedophiles admitting and sending videos in the group chat of going on to the call chat I forgot to mention you can call on the app as well but literally I am disturbed and so concerned. THIS IS REAL. Why are there pedophiles admitting to doing stuff with CHILDREN and screen recording it . I will be taking this to the internet because this is very disturbing and I know using my platform this could help get this app taken down because you guys are allowing this after I reported these accounts so many times.

As many have mentioned this app is SKETCHY. It appears legit when you start talking to people but I personally had 2 people try to extort me and get money from me. The thing is- the people doing this aren’t necessarily men posing as women..but young women offering sexual calls on alternative messaging apps, only to record the action and then try to get money via threats of sending the photos/vids everywhere. This attempt happened twice during the few days i used the app. For anyone who doesn’t know; these are real girls, usually working with a team of scammers so it is VERY convincing if you don’t know any better. This app is absolutely dangerous and it should be investigated. Full of extortion/sextortion scams, phishing, and a staggering amount of the people on there are engaged in soliciting pornography of themselves. It is not mostly women, but of the women on there just to meet people- there is questionable intent at best given the environment. This app attracts a lot of bad people with questionable intent. DO NOT USE IT. If you do: DO NOT MESSAGE ANYONE IF THEY ASK TO TAKE THE CHAT TO AN ALTERNATIVE MESSENGER. These people are sociopathic, and the app developers are accountable whether they want to do something about it or not.
