The application lets you evaluate using your full collection by starting a subscription trial. The subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the trial period. I had the free version for a short period and upgraded to the Pro version soon after! Definitely worth the $15!! I’ve been collecting Blu-ray/4k steelbooks for about 4 years now, and this app makes it so easy to store your collection! I love the layout, the cover art, how easy it is to scan your movie barcode to add it to your collection, or searching for titles is also so simple! I really love the way it displays everything about each movie, technical details, cast, movie trailer, and an embedded link to the movie’s IMDb page! Very nice touch! I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants a digital place to store their physical and digital collection! I also recommend downloading the Desktop version of the app available for both PC and MAC! You just need to remember your login information, and it’ll do the rest for you and sync your whole collection! Take my word for it! Upgrade to the Pro version if you’re a serious collector like myself!
Why a subscription?

So it went from free/limited space to super affordable and great, then got billed for more logging room & now a subscription? Well, I wouldn’t be surprised the entire app does this and removes what all their other customers had already paid for the version to have unlimited access. This app is going to become way too expensive to afford, because who really needs a subscription for movie titles? When there are other apps who probably have started out just like Movies Pro did originally, for free as well. Well, I’m not subscribing and if they lose me as a customer I don’t doubt everyone else will be lost too. No one in their 5 senses wants to pay a subscription for movie titles, because quite frankly it’s not that important. If they remain the already paid unlimited access available and continued use… then I don’t see the point in this subscription. Which is the trigger there. Once this app sees no one is subscribing, they’ll probably lock us out of what we already paid for in the app and have enjoyed until now. Because I frankly don’t see how they will make money out of it, if not that. And honestly, they will ultimately lose because NO ONE is going to pay for this as a sub. If we can’t have our already paid versions, then forget it YOU WILL lose customers. This is a proven fact as it’s been shown many companies go out of business, because they lack the customers support & they don’t earn enough to sustain the app. Therefore, I want to thank MoviesPro for having had a great app until now, but I’m not subscribing AT ALL. Good luck in your future business, you’re going to need it.
I did like the app, until I upgraded again

I’ve used My Movies for a very long time and have upgraded each time a new version came out. Well, I just upgraded to 5, and I was more than disappointed. I still have 4 on my iPad and will be using it instead, since 5 is completely worthless. First, I have always gotten the pro version since it was offered. I’ve never had any problems with the app during the time I’ve used it, other than getting a movie that wasn’t completely in the system and having to go through the adding - not bad at all. But I upgraded today when I received a notice saying I could upgrade for half price. I was charged full price, despite using the link in the email. Then after I downloaded the new app, went into the app, I found out that I have to subscribe if I want all my movies downloaded, otherwise it will only show 50 movies. That’s NEVER been the case before. Every prior download gave me full access to my entire movie collection and subscription service was never an option to be able to see all your movies. Bad move developers, you’ve lost a loyal customer and I’ll be asking the App Store for a refund.

Hi. The price you have purchased at is the discounted price - the offer have been extended to January 7'th, after which the price will double. If you have a limit of 50 titles after having upgraded, you would have purchased the Pro version, but you are then opening the non-Pro version. I’ve been using a movie catalog app for over ten years. When I realized the app I was using hadn’t been updated in seven years I went looking for something else. I considered several different apps before landing on this one. There were others not evaluated because they required an unreasonable subscription fee. I was actually ready to purchase a different app but sent the developer a question and never received so much as a “we got your message” in return. Not getting my money. Someone then pointed me here. Win 1: there’s a one-time payment option that’s actually reasonable. Win 2: there’s a full-featured trial not limited by time but by the number of items you can store. It gives you a great opportunity to really get into the nuts and bolts. Win 3: Boxed sets can be expanded so your list shows the individual movies as well as the set. Grand slam: The company is very responsive. Give it a try. There’s nothing to lose.
