Finale Keyboard is a gesture-based minimal keyboard loaded with smart features to help you type faster. Ever used Fleksy (R.I.P)? You'll feel right at home. A new, freshly renovated, modern home.
Finale Keyboard is not your typical keyboard. While you type characters as usual, most other actions - like inserting spaces, autocorrecting, adding punctuation, and more - are done using swipe gestures.
Gestures allow you to type much faster than traditional keyboards. While they may take a few days to get used to, once they become second nature, you won't want to type without them.
Finale Keyboard also has the smallest footprint of any keyboards available on iPhone. So, not only will you type faster, but you'll also reclaim valuable screen real estate.
-- Features --
- Smallest keyboard for the iPhone:
Save your screen real estate for what matters the most.
- Easy-to-master gestures that let you type faster:
Type blazingly fast with convenient gestures for your most important actions.
- Smart autocorrect:
Swipe right after typing a word to quickly autocorrect it and insert a space. Don't worry about typos - Finale will take care of misspellings for you.
- Learns your vocabulary:
Often use "gonna", "wanna", "yaaas", or have your own unique slang? Finale Keyboard will automatically learn words you type often and add them to its dictionary.
- Shortcuts
Add shortcuts to any key and trigger them with a downward swipe. Insert emojis, contact information, perform cut / copy / paste, and more.
- Dynamic touch zones
Finale Keyboard predicts which characters you are most likely to type next and will dynamically increase their touch zones to help you be more accurate.
- Favorite Emojis: Create a personalized emoji layout so your most-used emojis are always exactly where you expect them.

Fleksy was my favorite keyboard of all time. But it got buggy, and now its not available anymore. I was so excited about this keyboard, but not having the option for a space bar or period key you can hold to select other characters is a no go for me. I'm sure its possibly faster to swipe right for some people, but for me it isn't. I've tried it, and its just not usable for me. What makes a keyboard the fastest is when you can fine tune it to the way your brain works. Opinionated things might work for some, but not all. So all i ask for, is the option to enable a space bar, and the period key with special character access. Id happily pay 20 bucks for that.
Excellent keyboard if you learn the gestures.

If you've ever used Fleksy, you'll be right at home. This keyboard improves many of Fleksy's features, and removes themes for increased stability. First time users, If you're willing to learn the gestures you'll love the keyboard.
The autocorrect is really terrible

I'm going go (to) tupr (type) this review and lea-be (leave) in all my typos, fixing them in parentheses. Most of the tike (time) when I type a word, the autogorreftion (autocorrection) dkes (does) it (not) kick on (in) like it should, and swiping down tor (for) forextions (corrections) either leads ti (to) other indirect (incorrect) words or nothing at all. Fleksy was much, much better. I can't use this app moving feared (forward) if this is nag (not) addressed.

Developer Response
No way, you are lying 😭
- Long-press shortcuts, the second coming of Jesus type of an idea.
- Full rewrite under the hood that you will never get to see, so f*** me I guess.
- Fixed previously intentionally added bugs, because apparently I was wrong and someone does use this keyboard.
Refer below for an overview of our exciting new old features from previous updates:
- Added spacebar for the ultra-rich.
- Did anyone know that force unwrapping optional values might crash the app? Well, that no longer happens!
** Going older **
- Did you know that rendering images is less memory intensive than text emojis? I sure didn't. At least now emojis consume less RAM, making the keyboard more efficient.
- Allegedly violated some Apple's patents.
- Added minor bugs, but who cares, no-one uses this keyboard anyway.
** Going even older **
- Shortcuts, an idea descended from god.
- Emoji skin tones, for all your inclusivity needs.
- ~S.m.o.o.t.h.e.r~ animations.
- Landscape mode, in case if you are one of those weirdos.
- Fed the keyboard my pain so it less hungry, which drastically reduced memory consumption.
