With this update, artificial intelligence (AI) makes its debut in Taste. Unstructured recipe texts – such as those found on social media – can now be automatically converted into structured recipes. This means you can finally import recipes directly from Instagram and TikTok, quickly and without manual copying. This new feature marks the beginning of a new phase in the app’s development. This hotfix corrects a language fallback issue that was intended to be resolved in the last update, but still caused the app to appear in English for some users (e.g. with Chinese, Spanish, or French as system language). After the first launch, restarting the app is required for the correct language to take effect.
