I have been with over since it was oh baby. I have seen all the bugs and rode all of them out with the very attentive, very thorough staff and developers. I have been an over pro annual subscriber for many years. And continue to convert many professionals in the Los Angeles social media world to over from the other lesser- yet still wildly popular apps. Over just has it all. You can import your own fonts from the web seamlessly, create high quality logos, merch, and entire marketing plans all from the app. If you are in the content creation game this is the only app you need. After you subscribe there are no in app purchases per graphic like the rest of the content apps. The graphics library is this widely vast treasure trove of inspiration, and easy- ready to use- ahead of the curve content. Teams and folders make it easy for a small business to be creatively collaborative and also organized. They have truly stepped it up as far as keeping the content, fonts, templates, tutorials, and graphics constantly up to date and fresh. There is not enough I can say about this app. Literally the only thing that would make it even better is if it had a function that automatically erased backgrounds on things for you, and if you could compress layers for mood boards as the more items you add the slower the app becomes until it just crashes- & if you could draw directly on it and add gifs - it would be greater than any and all photoshop software. I cannot wait for the desktop version to launch that is going to be beyond epic. I’m an Over girl for life. 🎉

My Favorite App

This is hands down my favorite app to use! Instead of sending a plain text to family and friends to invite them to something or ask them to save the date, I quickly create a JPG file using Studio. This app is so easy to use. It takes me less than 5 minutes to create a JPG to send out (if I already have all the images on my phone). I often get responses back, “oh what a nice invite”, “you’re so talented”, “so cute”, “how did you do that”, “I could never do that”, etc. But with that being said, I have used PhotoShop and other graphics software in the past so I have some basic knowledge of the different components to edit graphics. I select their “free” templates and change the color palette to match my photo scheme/theme. Studio makes it so easy for you to create professional looking invitations! I have shown some friends/family how to use. I am so passionate about this app that I feel like I could get anyone of any level up to speed! (No, Studio did not pay me to say that.). If anyone knows of any other apps out there that are better than this one, I would love to hear about and try. But, don’t think there’s anything out there that can compete with the ease and cost of using Studio (I use the free version).

Nostalgic For The Older Version

I started using Over in October of 2015 and I loved it. I purchased all of the fonts as they became available and had several packs of their premium content images. I really enjoyed the app. It is easy to use and flexible and did just what I wanted. I use it to make transparent-backed word art that I can apply to my some of my photos, paintings and drawings. Then there was a big overhaul and I grumbled a bit but I adapted. There was more premium content available to purchase and a daily freebie, I purchased fonts and a few word art graphics and then another complete overhaul came along! Now there was a new and less convenient interface and you need subscription to get new fonts and content, aside from some free crumbs here and here. Sigh.A subscription is almost never good for the consumer. You end up paying for A LOT of content that you never use for the privilege of the few things you want. This is, of course, good for developers and I do understand you have to make money to keep going but I was making regular purchases already. And $60 a year for an IOS only app seems beyond premium pricing for an app with a fairly limited number of fonts available, not to mention of the pain of downloading them one by one. I still want to like and use Over, I wish there was still an a la carte option for purchases, something between the premium subscription and scrounging for freebies. I teeter between contemplating paying a price i find too high and deleting the app altogether

Love this App! Graphics organization?

When I first tried this app, I didn’t think it was that great. Fast forward to maybe a few months after, I thought the app was super cool! Fast forward to today, this is by far my number one design app. By far! I use this app for like all my design needs, I love making wallpapers in the app! There are so many things I can, so many graphics to choose from which brings me to my next point. Is there a way you guys could bring an update so we can organize our graphics? I downloaded so many, but I don’t think it’s too much of a hassle to scroll not to far down! If I were to scroll through all my downloads however, that would be quite a damper! I’ve got a feeling the graphics would look cleaner (not that it’s messy) if the user chose to organize the ones they have downloaded! Also! Maybe out the graphics in categories and treat how they are right now as subcategories? For example, liquid, put packages under that which have liquid—and make the liquid the first thing that pops up when clicking on said pack! Please come out with these features, preferably the first one!
