“Love the Game, Hate the Broken Matchmaking”

Really fun game, but the matchmaking algorithm has some weird quirksHunting Sniper is genuinely addictive. The core gameplay—lining up shots on animals across different maps, going for perfect headshots or heart shots, and climbing the ranks in tournaments—feels satisfying and rewarding when things click. I love the variety of guns and ammo, the tension of 1v1 PvP hunts, and how it captures that thrill of competitive hunting without leaving the couch.That said, there are some frustrating quirks that hold it back. You can equip a clearly superior gun with better bullets, nail your shots, and still lose to someone running lower-tier equipment. It sometimes feels like the algorithm completely ignores the gear you’re using and just throws you into mismatched battles based on other hidden factors. I’ve had rounds where my damage, velocity, and accuracy should have dominated, yet the opponent pulls ahead anyway.I really enjoy this game overall and keep coming back to it, but I wish the developers would fix the matchmaking algorithm so equipment and skill actually matter more consistently. If they tighten that up, it’d easily be one of the best mobile hunting games out there. Right now it’s fun… but those random “why did I just lose?” moments sting.Recommended with some caveats—great for casual play, but expect some pay-to-win vibes and odd balancing in higher levels.

Overall I enjoy this game. I’m not much of a gamer on my phone, but if I do play anything, this is mainly what I play. A few things that irritate me:1. When you press the screen it pulls up your scope. When you let off, the gun fires. If you want to let off without the gun firing you drag your finger down the screen and let off, so that you don’t waste around. I can’t tell you how many times I have drug my finger down and my phone pulls the whole screen down (the window view of the game) and then I either fire accidentally trying to get the screen back up, or it causes me to lose my shot all together. There has to be an easier way to let you drop your scope without firing the round. I actually just lost a game because of that issue.Overall, minor issues, but still irritating nonetheless.

I love playing the game and yes it is addicting and you give nice incentive to try to move up the ladder by offering more cards the higher you get. So I finally achieved the highest level with 140% of cards and open chests only to find out AND be disappointed by the fact that I'm only getting more of the beginner gun cards that I've already maxed out on or moved up from and the more desired cards have not increased one bit. Classic bait and switch. Come on guys that needs to be corrected. My other issue is the inability to change bullets after discovering your opponent is sporting 4 shots. Now even if i have purchased some and keep them handy you make us go into a match blind which only aggravates when i could have played a fair 4 shot game if given the choice. Conversely if i randomly try a game with my 4 shot option, im most likely going to wind up playing some poor bastard that only chose to play 3 shots. Now they are mad at me. No I feel bad for my opponent because I have an unfair advantage. I'm not trying to play a video game to feel bad for the other guy that's an emotion that shouldn't exist while playing this game! I know you can correct this just like in Golf Clash. They allow you to change balls before you start the match after you see what your opponent is working with. Please allow your customers the same fairness!!! Less important but annoying is the recent update that makes a "CLINK" sound when the spent casing hits the ground as if im standing in concrete. Since im either on soft ground or snow while shooting 100% of the time that makes no sense at all. That needs fixing. Its just plain dumb and its distracting. Dave

The gameplay is pretty good and fair I don’t find any issues with actually playing the game. The issue is more with the general usage of the game. Everything is incredibly slow anytime you have to click something it feels like it’s lagging or like you clicked the wrong thing but it’s just built in delay that makes everything take longer. This isn’t a big issue but it makes the app feel sluggish and annoying to use especially when opening chests. Speaking of which anytime you’re awarded a chest it says it’s a bronze chest despite it actually being silver or gold. The biggest issue by far is again, with chests. It takes 5 seconds to unlock a bronze chest and 4 hours to unlock a silver chest and after your first few chests everything is silver or better. This is 2,880 times longer for a reward that isn’t even twice as good and really slows down progress unless you spend money. I’m not against the developer making money and the fact ads are optional is great but it would feel like a game that’s playable for free if it was maybe 30 seconds for a bronze chest, 5 minutes for a silver chest, and 1 hour for a gold chest. Since at this point you can essentially only open a chest every 4 hours there’s no point in playing more than a single round every 4 hours. Again, the game is good and fun but the chests make it infuriatingly hard to get new gear without paying for it and disincentivizes playing the game.
