The game is fun for a while then it requires you to pay to play really. Whether that’s in dollars or time. It takes a lot of time to look through all of the boxes and always think five steps ahead. If you choose to pay for no ads it takes away your ability to watch ads to get extra coins as well as the accessories to pass the levels. You will have to pay to pass levels unless you want to spend many hours to get through a level. Let’s say there are 220 screws on a level. You make it through 150 of them by only choosing boxes that reveal other screws which took 45 min. Then you run out of the colors so you have to meticulously search through all of the boxes to find the color you need and hope that you have enough spare holes to clear a color set box. If you don’t pay then you have to start all over and the screws are all different colors. Also the rewards for winning a level are nominal compared to the cost of the accessories/power ups so you have to pass 20-30 levels to get enough for a power up. The $ cost for power ups is also way too high; $7-10 for enough to get through a few levels.

This game has easily become one of my favorites, I spend a lot of time & more money than I care to admit on this game. But there a couple things that bug me. First after I paid for the ad free version, there are no more opportunities to even choose ads as an option for more lives or extra coins, you just have to keep spending money or wait til you earn enough through the levels to use. It’s very frustrating and I don’t understand why you only get 10 coins after you complete a level, when all the supplies you need is closer to 200+ coins & sometimes you spend hrs on a level just for 10 coins. That should be rethought out! My other issue is the extra screw holes, why if I fill the last screw hole does it end the game? Don’t leave an extra hole there if I’m not able to use it I mean what sense does that make? Oh yeah on the Home Screen of the game, the bottom right tab always says “Coming Soon”. Makes me think no one is really working on real consumer beneficial updates on this game.UPDATE: Now at level 119 & it’s starting to glitch or flicker, then I have to force close which starts me all over. About ready to delete the game.LAST UPDATE: I’m on level 209 & I’m done. It’s just not worth it, they don’t give you enough for what you end up paying. It’s at the point where you HAVE to pay for stuff to get thru a level only to get 10 coins at the end. I’m done.. DELETE & I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The game was really fun till I decided to pay to remove ads. There’s a mandatory ad at the end of every level and then there’s optional ads. You can watch to gain new color boxes for your screws to go into and some other stuff. I assumed that the mandatory ad at the end of the level would be removed, and that either the optional ads would become free or you could still watch the ad for the benefit. I was mistaken, while the mandatory ad was removed so was the possibility to watch optional ads and they were not provided for free so now if you want to have any of those benefits that make levels easier, you have to spend coins and it’s a lot of coins you have to spend. Just to unlock one color box for a level to make the level easier you would have to win around 28 levels. Just to get enough coins if you weren’t gonna spend money. I don’t like them to be particularly challenging so I like to unlock those boxes so before I was using ads to unlock them. However, now, I can not even watch an ad even if I want to and have to spend a lot of coins. If I want to get more coins, I have to spend more money. Buying the option to remove ads ruined the game for me. I want to undo that purchase or at least leave the possibility to watch ads to make the game easier available compared to just completely removing it and forcing players to spend more money on the game. I loved the game until now and now I can barely play it.

I enjoyed this game (initially) and maybe I’m not as good at it as I thought I would be (which is certainly possible). However, there are just levels you cannot beat without cheats. They purposefully keep one or two colors from coming up (while having the same color come up 2-4 times in a row) so you get stuck- usually right around the same place every single time. I have started playing a game within the game trying to guess which color is going to screw me (pun intended) at the beginning of the level. Sometimes it’s super obvious, sometimes it’s a surprise. I will spend some money but not a lot. If you have no cheats, you don’t move on and you can’t earn cheats. So paying is the only option. I happily paid to have the ads removed but I did not realize I would lose out on being able to watch an ad to earn a cheat. I would do that (which is different than watching an ad after every level) vs spending 190 coins (they go so quickly when you only earn 10-20 coins per win and it’s impossible to win certain levels). It has become less fun, annoying and clearly a money grab. Wish I didn’t pay to go ad free as I will likely quit this game being stuck with no option but to fork out more money. Not paying one more cent as it is a rip off.
