It can be a fun game but it’s honestly so infuriating. Every single level is way more complicated then it should be and every time you reach near the end of a level, the colors you need “coincidentally” stop showing up and you lose over and over again. I revive like 6 or 7 times per level because the colors i need always “miraculously” disappear and it is so infuriating. Each revive is a 60 second ad. i literally spend like over 5 minutes on the game in just ads alone. Not to mention the mix up in colors. Some levels have color difference that are only a slight shade off, to the point you can barely tell which is which. You click one color and end up losing because the other is a slight shade lighter. Luckily, I’m an artist and i can differentiate colors easily, but is a child or someone who doesn’t have the ability supposed to be able to play this? I would understand its complexity if it was supposed to be a puzzle game, but come on, it’s a sorting game. No other sorting game is as complicated as this. Sorting games are supposed to be satisfying, not incredibly infuriating. Also, lower the coin prices? 10 coins per level and 190 coins to revive without an ad? but you’re making levels this difficult? Honestly ridiculous. I never leave reviews for games but this one was so annoying, i had to. However, i have to admit, when it’s actually playable, it could be addicting. i’m sure if devs fixed these issues, it would actually be a very enjoyable game.

The game itself is enjoyable and I would be playing it a lot more if it weren’t for the ads. I downloaded this game because I saw an ad for it, which had an emphasis on how the game doesn’t have ads! That is blatant false advertising. I wouldn’t mind ads between levels but it is implied to be optional only if you want extra points, then happens every time regardless of what you pick. I wouldn’t mind ads to get extra spaces or power ups, but it’s almost impossible to win a level without at least one. I’ve had levels where I needed to watch up to ten ads just to get through it. The ads have also been getting longer. They have multiple stages and some have timers of 120 seconds, then have 2 additional stages so you’re looking at 3 or more minutes of ads just to get an extra slot for yarn. The gameplay doesn’t take that long so I end up with 3-5x more time spent on ads than gameplay once I actually get enough things to successfully do the level. Don’t exit while you have a level in progress, because the game won’t save it and you’ll have to start the level over. Definitely don’t uninstall and reinstall it. I tried that when I was on level 65 (a cat) and the game had a bug where it showed me the wool item but had no UI elements or places for yarn and clicking did nothing. Nothing else worked so I uninstalled and when I reinstalled I was back at level 1. If I want to get back to that level I will probably have to watch hundreds of ads. I understand the game needs to make money somehow but it’s misleading and excessive. Sadly that seems to be the state of mobile games these days. Not worth it.

Do not download this game. This game is so frustrating. It doesn’t let you save your progress. You could do something as simple as get a text message, navigate to your text messages to see what it says, and then in the 32 seconds if that took, by the time you get back to the game it completely starts you over on that level It’s mind numbingly frustrating. Especially because practically every level is impossible to beat without watching a million commercials to finish the level. I’m going to download a different yarn game because it’s just not worth it. This one is too frustrating. Nobody wants to spend 30 minutes on a level only to have to start ALL over again because you got a freakin’ phone call and the game decided that it couldn’t possibly allow you to do that and maintain your progress 😡🙄 don’t download this game unless you like playing the same levels over and over again because you got a phone call while you were playing it. Not to mention that the levels are literally impossible to be without power ups. And every power up requires you to watch a 60 to 120 second ad, and you’ll do that, and immediately have to do it again because the game is impossible to beat without watching ads over and over again. I have literally spent an hour on a single level because of how many advertisements I had to watch to beat it.

Do not download this game. It’s built to make sure you lose, there are many better games like this out there that actually is deigned to be a puzzle. When I first downloaded the game, the first level was really easy, so I thought it would be a chill experience. But then I reached level two and ran into a frustrating problem. The game has a mechanic where you unravel wool to reveal a color, and it seems to automatically hide the color you need most in the hardest spot to reach. In my case, I needed orange, but it was buried underneath all the other colors, completely hidden. There was no way to tell where it was, so I kept losing lives just trying to find it. That’s when I realized the game is kind of luck-based, you’re basically guessing and hoping you pick the right spot. On top of that, I didn’t realize you lose a life if your color slots are full, even if they’re filled with the right colors. The game doesn’t let you win just because you collected what you need, you also have to keep slots empty, which makes no sense. It’s less about solving a color puzzle and more about making sure you don’t have a full inventory, which honestly takes away from the whole point. It’s fun for those who don’t mind this stuff, but if you do, I’m going to give it three stars, and still play the game. I know it can take a really long time to develop games so I’m not going to rush anything, but if you guys want your players to be happy, then you sorta gotta make sure they can play a game without frustration being only up there.
