Really love this game! I grew up playing real mahjong with my family and always swore I’d never play one of those “stupid” matching mahjong games but the ads looked too fun so I downloaded and I’m so glad I did. I really enjoy the game, and it’s a great way to relax before bed. The only thing is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off the guy’s voice going “great” “unbelievable” etc whenever you start getting a few combos. I like the sound of the tiles, it’s like ASMR before bed, but the voice can get annoying. There is apparently a way to turn it off but my settings only has a way to turn off the music, all sounds (voice and tile clicking), or vibration—nothing for just the voice. Otherwise though, great game and I’d probably play it way more if I had the ability to turn the guy’s voice off!

Thank you for the glowing review! 😊 We're so happy you're enjoying our mahjong tile match puzzle game and find it relaxing. We hear you on the voice feedback—currently, settings allow turning off all sounds or just music, but we'll explore adding an option to disable only the voice in updates. For now, you can keep the tile clicking sounds for that soothing ASMR vibe. Happy matching!
Few improvements would be great!

Not one who writes reviews…ever. And not one to get passionate or mad over a game. So usual will simply delete a game and say no thank you move on if a game isn’t good. Thought I’d throw a tip for the mahjong gamers. Btw, have discovered that I like playing mahjong. And seem to supposedly be pretty good rating in the only 1% who can achieve that score. True or not true it seems with mahjong type game I’m swift. With that so far have kept only one mahjong game called Vita. Because I’ll try a game and quickly determine if it’s not moving smoothly and the ad precision is on point to be moving smooth. If the game is not then it’s deleted after a fair trial. This mahjong and another one tried there are probably more that have a few defects. First of all it seems with these games my skill moves pretty fast and the tiles on this one as well others stick so it slows me down to click one tile at a time with each thumb instead of the choice to simultaneously hit them. Also, there is no choice in settings to opt out of the auto finish. Plus the auto finish is terrible it does it in the beginning of the game with most the tiles still there so you’ve begun playing a split second when it finishes it for you says GREAT combo you completed and then sends back to the ads. Not cool. Also, it’s nice to periodically during a game to hear that you’re doing great when you actually are killing it….this game and others over kill it to major distraction where you can tell it’s been over programmed to say “amazing” “great” every other tile hit haha…very distracting no other way to say it.

Thanks for sharing your honest feedback! We totally get how the tile response and auto-finish can be frustrating. We'll look into improving the controls and adjusting the voice prompts. Your tips are super helpful for us Mahjong game lovers! 😊
horrible tournaments

mahjong blast review If i could give this poor excuse for a Majong game a negative 100 score i would do just that. 1.the ads are ridiculous after every play you have to tolerate an add . i was willing to pay an amount to get rid of the adds but they don’t offer that.2. i entered their daily tournament and worked on it for hours. i was in first place about 110 points ahead of other players. after putting up with the multitude of obnoxious adds they never ever acknowledged the win what so ever. no mention of the first place win nor the second or third. the game vanished as though it never happened and they were on to the next game of poor suckers that are ready to challenge themselves for nothing. what ate you thinking game developers. such an utter manipulation where you made a ton of money on adds and not have the r decency to acknowledge players who give you that money by looking at your stupid repetitive adds . this game is pathetic waste of time from A to Z. i have been duped big time but if i can help to prevent one more person from feeling the way i do after being cheated of precious time and paying these sneaky con artists money they do t deserve i won’t feel so bad about what happened to me today.. stay away from this stupid game if you value your time and energy.. don’t allow them to con you the way they did me..

Ads, ads, ads… sooooo many ads!

Even though I love this app, I had to delete it. There’s no option to pay for an ad-free version. And the continuous onslaught of ads was finally the deal-breaker for me. I know developers need to get paid and I fully support that. But this game has, by far, the most aggressive use of ads I’ve seen in a long while. The game itself is great. I love the graphics, the animations, the haptics and the fact that the board is vertical. It’s genuinely the best Mahjong app I’ve found so far, but I’ve deleted it because it relentlessly beats you over the head with ads. It was bad enough when the user was presented with a time-consuming video ad at the end of every single board. But now the ads are starting before the board is even cleared! I won’t be surprised if this app turns into one long stream of ads with an occasional Mahjong break! So, I’m done with this app. In spite of the fact this game is very well-designed and very fun to play (when I’m actually playing it, and not sitting through ads), I’ve deleted it. I’ve settled on using other Mahjong apps which are either free or have an option to pay to remove the ads. If you don’t mind the ads, and you like Mahjong, you really will enjoy this app. In my case, I’d rather pay to skip the ads.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We totally get why the ads felt overwhelming—it's frustrating when they interrupt the fun of our mahjong tile matching puzzle. 😔 Your kind words about the graphics, animations, and vertical board mean a lot to us. We're always working to balance the experience better, and we appreciate your support. We hope you might consider returning if we improve this in the future!
