I have been using PO for about a year now and took my time reading reviews and listening to the videos before I chose a psychic. I needed to feel their energy. Because of this I now have 4 readers that I have gotten to know and that have been I’d say 95% accurate with their readings and predictions with very little information from me. I prefer tarot and have found 4 readers that are VERY connected to my energy. I will agree that some of the readers are probably fake. A platform this large I am sure it is hard to verify everyone but I can tell you the 4 I have worked with consistently are the real deal. I have learned to read tarot so I can verify what they are telling me is real. Take your time if using this site. Read reviews and look for the right energy. Some people giving bad reviews only do so because they didn’t like what they heard but you can see a pattern if you take the time to read. It is time consuming but worth it to find the right psychic in the end.

Overblown Management Reactions and Lack of Accountability

I’m sharing my experience to warn other advisors about the unprofessional environment at Purple Ocean. After reporting another advisor for harassment, I was met with a confusing and defensive tone from the first staff member I spoke with. I pushed back and set a firm boundary—and while I was direct because of the stress of the situation, the management response was completely disproportionate.Instead of de-escalating, a manager impulsively suspended my account and labeled me 'unprofessional.' I was forced to use strategy and 'put on an act' just to get my account back and protect my finances.The most frustrating part? When I recently brought this to the owners, they admitted that I hadn't actually broken any guidelines. They essentially acknowledged I was wrongly suspended, yet to this day, I have never received an official apology for the mistake or the financial jeopardy they put me in. The staff even tried to pivot to casual chat about birth charts afterward, showing a total lack of professional boundaries. There is a clear culture of favoritism and a lack of integrity when it comes to admitting staff errors.Also, they finally just recently (not when the incident with the other advisor who kept coming to me) added the ability for advisors to be able to block and each time you can put the reasoning but yet will still pester you about your reasoning for wanting to protect yourself and business…and I believe they mess with your visibility.

Discriminatory and Extractive

This app and it’s team image actively discriminatory towards those who are of the witchcraft or voodoo religions (both federally protected classes), disallowing even the mention of the word “spell” while others are permitted to perform reiki, aura cleansing and Crystal healings... as long as they aren’t witches or rootworkers who use the word spell (or other words we use for manifestation and magic). After being targeted for a client asking about a spell they had performed (and having my account approved for those types of inquiries by the purple ocean team) the team proactively targeted me in their Facebook group and repeatedly tried to push me to leave the app. They refused to investigate or fix technological issues I faced and after two weeks of having all issues ignored, they terminated my account when I asked them to follow up and confirm that the issues were being seen to. Rather than treat myself (or other readers) concerns with due responsibility they would essentially shrug their shoulders. This app is extremely extractive of readers time and energy and pays very little. The app is very glitchy and both myself and other readers would not receive notifications on time (causing our accounts to be locked for six days). Readers cannot block or reject toxic clients and neither clients nor readers can cancel an order. All around was a terrible and traumatizing experience to be treated with such discrimination and lack of professionalism. I will be reporting them to the federal trade commission.

To be honest, there are a lot of advisors on purple ocean that are some of the best in existence. I don’t like that the options given to customers who choose to submit a review on their site—either a green smiley face or a red face with a frown for positive reviews and negative reviews. Overall, it is not a true reflection of an advisors ability nor what I’d like to convey. A simple 1 out of 5 rating would definitely suffice. Sometimes the advisors will not be able to finish their final message within 3 minutes, which has resulted in a follow up question in the comments section wherein the advisor may or may not reply. Some advisors are nice to finish in the comments. And sometimes the advisor won’t be available for a follow up, which I feel isn’t fair because then you’d have to spend more money instead of the small-ish discount you might get if they had just waited around a little longer. Sometimes advisors may take on too many clients resulting in a late reading where you have the option to cancel. There are usually frequent sales, which is nice especially since they have recently raised their prices $2 to $3 depending on time of requested delivery.
