This is a completely unbiased, unpaid, unsponsored review from a regular everyday person: I’ve been severely clinically depressed individual since my teenage years. I’m now 33 years old and still battling my darkest thoughts which routinely bring me to the verge of ridding myself from the world. The other night, I was doing my usual ‘cry on the floor’ routine when an ad for this app popped up. I didn’t think it was a coincidence once the words I heard brought me to tears with hope. I immediately downloaded it and started a subscription and I have not turned it off since. I feel empowered, brave, hopeful, strong, thankful, confident in my ability to take back the steering wheel of my life. I have not felt anything like this before because I’ve never had anyone speak life and courage into me the way these speeches have. Saying “thank you” or being grateful for this app will never be enough. You saved me from myself and you gave a little boy his mother back. I hope someone will read this review and give it a chance to reformulate your thoughts and thinking patterns. And to the creators of this app and the speakers whose voices and words breathed life back into me, I cannot thank you enough for what you’ve done.

Where are the women?
I am still trying it. I have watched a couple and I am currently listening to one. I find them electrifying and powerful. App sends me a notification every morning. Great way to start my day with motivated and feeling strong and empowered. I wish there were more females speaking as strongly as males seem to be doing. I have tried motivational books by men and they’ve gotten me in trouble. Their lives seem to be simpler and they are able to stay focused on a single goal. Our female lives include accommodating all the duties of family and children. Where are my strong girls???? How do they make it happen??? Being rich and a career is not the only way one needs to experience success in live. Feeling like a failure at home can actually take all the joy. So please add more female inspiration

Even though the women speakers are a bit out numbered for now, we do have a good amount of content from women speakers. App was decent until the most recent update. IMHO the old app had a much better look, this new white/pink layout looks pretty weak and not very ‘pep-ish’. But more importantly, as others have mentioned, this new update is just randomly missing important features that the old app had...one of the things I really looked forward to each morning, in addition to Peptalk audio, was the daily motivational quotes (usually overlaying great pictures of the people who said them) that showed up as the app was loading. You were able to choose other things like custom motivational texts instead as well. I’m really not sure what the point of this update was, but don’t see myself staying long at all if this is the way the app’s going to be.—————————————————Update: The developers were kind enough to respond. Glad to see that they’re working on improving the app and bringing back the old features but revamped. Excited to see what’s to come.

You can be sure that the daily reminders and daily quotes are gonna be back very soon, with an improved design / easier to share with friends etc. All previous features will eventually be back and at least 5 new ones will be added along with this update. If you liked the old version, please stay tuned and wait to see what comes next. We're very excited about the overall progress we're gradually bringing : improved suggestion algorithm, faster loading times, user-friendly interface, social features, and also a ton of new exclusive content from our partner speakers. I’ve been using this app every morning since I PAID for elite last month. 5 weeks in Ive randomly lost access to my PAID elite subscription. My subscription is for a whole year and now it’s telling me there is no subscription under my Apple ID. I’ve never gone to complain to Apple for a refund but it’s happening today. Oh and there’s no Apple Watch support so go 🤬 yourself if you wanted to go running or workout and listen to this app without your phone cuz it ain’t happening. I’ve reported this app to Apple. It’s a shame because I was really loving this and recommending it but now it will be known as the biggest rip off because every moment I don’t have access to what I paid for my time & money are being stolen. And if this app replies to this hopefully they know we get an email but the email doesn’t open the review it just opens the review section and finding your reply is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Same on all 3 devices… iPhone 15 pro max, iPhone 16 pro max and an iPad Pro M4. I ain’t got time for this nonsense.
