Fitrah is an Islamic app, originally built to help me stay on top of my prayers, strengthen my iman, and increase my knowledge of Islam. After a few weeks of hard work, I have finally been able to release the app for general use by anyone who is also interested in leveling up their deen :)
Features Include:
No Ads: I don't like ads, and I'm sure you don't either, so the app stays completely ad-free
Privacy First: I built this app to help, learn, and be a quick reference, not to collect data on users or to optimize payments or ads; We don't collect any user data, or data in general, except for in-app feedback (which is completely anonymous and not linked in any way to you), only to help improve the app for everyone :)
Daily Ayats: Get notifications every day to read and learn a new ayat, with new ayats added regularly.
Flashcards: Easy-to-use flashcards are designed to help increase your knowledge and understanding of Islam, with new cards added regularly.
Analytics: Simple analytics to help you keep track of your actions, view how many flashcard decks you've completed/reviewed, view total salahs/namaz you've prayed, and view the total amount of tasbeeh you've recited. You can also easily track prayers from actionable notifications sent as follow-ups after every prayer time.
Prayer Times: Daily view of 5 prayers and their times, where you can also track prayers prayed. Also includes a nice visual of the sun's position throughout the day.
Qibla: The Prayer page also includes a Qibla for quick reference to your positioning to the Ka'aba, using industry-standard true north calculation based on your position and lat/long coordinates
Duas Page: A collection of common Duas with easy searching, regularly updated with new Duas.
Dhikr Page: A collection of popular tasbeeh, with simple tracking, counting, and full page tapping for easy tasbeeh. Regularly updated with new tasbeeh.
Widgets: Large home screen widget with an overview of all 5 prayer times and the current prayer, matches your selected in-app theme color. Two lock screen widgets, a small current prayer widget, and a larger widget that displays the current and upcoming prayer; and lastly, a small control widget (where your camera or flashlight button is), that gives you quick access to the tasbeeh page.
Themes: Multiple light and dark themes to personalize the app to your liking (with a matching home screen widget)
Prayer Settings: Settings to auto-select the most popular calculation method in your region, Madhabs, and/or customize the prayer calculation based on your preferred method, latitude, angles, and custom adjustments.
