Ergonomic detects key body landmarks along with the workstation environment and continuously evaluates eye-to-screen distance, viewing angle, work range, head and trunk alignment, upper limb positioning, sitting posture, and estimated spinal alignment. These measurements are combined into a dynamic Ergonomic Index that adapts to the available data and reflects real-world conditions, providing meaningful feedback even as posture naturally changes.
The experience is designed to be simple and continuous. Live visualization and real-time metric updates allow you to stay aware of posture throughout normal activity, helping you recognize alignment patterns and adjust naturally without interrupting your workflow. Subtle changes become easier to notice over time, supporting a more intuitive understanding of how posture evolves during prolonged sitting.
Everything runs directly on your device. There is no need for external hardware or setup—just position your iPhone or iPad and begin. Ergonomic fits into everyday environments such as desks, offices, and study spaces, making posture awareness part of how you work rather than something separate from it. The system adapts to real conditions, including variations in lighting, position, and movement, allowing it to remain practical in everyday use.
When used with Apple Vision Pro, Ergonomic extends beyond measurement into spatial understanding. Posture data can be visualized in three dimensions, allowing you to better perceive alignment, depth, and symmetry. The iPhone or iPad performs precise measurement, while the spatial experience provides a more intuitive way to interpret it, turning posture into something you can observe rather than calculate.
For improved spatial consistency, an optional QR marker can be used to establish a shared reference in the environment. This enhances stability when using 3D visualization and can be printed with a standard printer, requiring no specialized equipment.
